This position oversees the day-to-day dining operations at Camp Randall Stadium and The Kohl Center Arena, ensuring meals are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest service standards.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage staff, and is committed to delivering exceptional service. From coordinating meal service and inventory management to collaborating with sports nutritionists and culinary teams, you will help create a seamless dining experience that supports student athlete performance and well-being.\nA variety of shifts are available, including mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and event-related schedules based on operational needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead and supervise daily dining operations, ensuring efficient service from setup through breakdown.\nManage food, beverage, and supply inventory to minimize waste and maintain accurate inventory levels.\nSupervise and support team members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and quality standards are consistently met.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and professional operation that reflects the highest standards of food service.\nEnsure all signage, menus, and service displays are accurate, current, and properly presented.\nPartner with sports nutrition staff, culinary teams, and other departments to deliver an exceptional dining experience for student athletes.\nCoordinate the transportation of food, equipment, and supplies to satellite or alternative service locations when needed.\nCommunicate proactively with culinary and operational teams to ensure food availability throughout service periods.\nMonitor, log, and maintain food temperatures in accordance with food safety regulations and company standards.\nIdentify and report equipment malfunctions, facility concerns, and repair needs in a timely manner.\nEnforce all company, client, and food safety policies and procedures.\nDelegate responsibilities, provide coaching and direction to staff, and serve as the primary point of leadership during service.\nAssist with training and developing team members to support operational excellence.\nPerform additional duties as assigned to ensure successful daily operations and event execution.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of one year of supervisory or leadership experience in food service, hospitality, catering, dining services, or a related field.\nPrevious food service experience required.\nStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to food quality, safety, and guest service.\nServSafe Food Handler Certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.\nAbility to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds.\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts.\nProfessional appearance, strong personal hygiene practices, and positive workplace demeanor.\nPrevious experience in a supervisory role within collegiate athletics, catering, hospitality, or large-scale food service operations is preferred.\nApply to Levy today!\nLevy is a member of Compass Group USA\nClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story\nCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
