The supervisor helps facilitate executing area setup and breakdown. The supervisor oversees the breakdown of the event once it is concluded. Once an event is near, the supervisor checks the provisions and stocking orders to ensure that all is ready for guests. The supervisor manages the runners and the servers, to again, ensure effective processes are in place. The supervisor handles guest issues and then report them up to managers.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMeets with the directors before the event to go over details. \nSupervisors staff during check-ins and breakdowns. \nEnsures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event. \nKnowledgeable on all menu offerings. \nSupervises the runners and servers before, during and after the event. \nEstablishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques. \nDetermine where guests would like to eat their meals and help them get situated. \nThoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided. \nPerforms post event product inventory and restocks, as needed.\nCreate, modify and close sales checks in point of sale. \nUnderstands all event paperwork and reports. \nAdheres to location appearance guidelines. \nInteract with ownership groups to ensure that their needs are met routinely. \nMaintains service areas.\nEmploys good safety and sanitation practices.\nFollows responsible alcohol services policies.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nStand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.\nAbility to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.\nReact with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations. \nDemonstrate physical stamina and agility requried to be mobile for long periods throughout the day. \nLift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. \nMove from sitting to standing position easily and quickly. \nApply to Levy today!\nLevy is a member of Compass Group USA\nClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story\nCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
