Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. 1 hour lunch. 40 hours weekly.\n\nThe Obstetrics Coordinator RN is a key member of a person-centered, integrated care team, helping obstetric patients experience connected, timely, and supportive care throughout the prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum continuum. This role combines nursing assessment and education with patient navigation, care coordination, outreach, and collaboration across OB providers, hospitals, specialists, and community partners. As part of our rural healthcare mission, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in access, continuity, and outcomes for individuals and families in the communities we serve.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate patient care across the prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum continuum, including transitions between clinic, hospitals, specialists, and community services.\nTrack and follow up on appointments, testing, referrals, consultations, delivery planning, and postpartum care to promote continuity.\nProvide patient outreach, navigation, education, and follow-up related to care plans, medications, testing, warning signs, delivery preparation, and postpartum needs.\nIdentify barriers to care and connect patients with appropriate organizational and community resources, including coverage, transportation, language, equipment, and public health resources.\nPerform nursing assessment and telephone triage, using clinical judgment to prioritize concerns and coordinate appropriate provider follow-up.\nCollaborate with patients, OB providers, hospitals, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to support effective communication and safe transitions of care.\nParticipate in care planning for patients with complex medical, behavioral health, or social needs and coordinate follow-through.\nMaintain timely, accurate documentation and support quality, safety, education, infection prevention, and compliance initiatives.\nProvide occasional direct clinic nursing support based on operational needs.\n\nRequirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\n\nAssociate/Bachelor’s degree in nursing required\nMinimum of one (1) year of experience as a registered nurse required\nFive (5) or more years of healthcare experience preferred\nObstetric nursing experience preferred\nExperience with healthcare technology and electronic health record systems preferred\nCare coordination, case management, patient navigation, or population health experience preferred\nExperience coordinating care for patients who require interpreter services or face barriers to care preferred\nLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:\nMust possess and maintain a current, active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license\nMust obtain and maintain current CPR certification within 60 days of hire\nMust obtain and maintain certification in an approved crisis intervention methodology (CPI, MANDT, or CALM) within 60 days of hire\n\nYou’ll be a great fit for this role if you:\nBring a patient-centered, strengths-based approach to care and communication.\nEnjoy building relationships and helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.\nAre an organized, proactive RN who can manage multiple moving pieces while keeping the patient experience at the center.\nUse sound clinical judgment and know when to independently coordinate next steps or involve the appropriate provider.\nCommunicate effectively across patients, families, providers, hospitals, specialists, and community partners.\nAre comfortable navigating complex healthcare systems and helping patients connect with resources that support their goals.\nValue teamwork and believe coordinated, accessible care can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.\n*Retention bonuses paid as per bonus policy;
