The supervisor helps facilitate executing area setup and breakdown. The supervisor oversees the breakdown of the event once it is concluded. Once an event is near, the supervisor checks the provisions and stocking orders to ensure that all is ready for guests. The supervisor manages the runners and the servers, to again, ensure effective processes are in place. The supervisor handles guest issues and then reports them up to managers.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMeets with the management before the event to go over details.\nSupervises staff during check-ins and breakdowns.\nEnsures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.\nKnowledgeable on all menu offerings.\nSupervises the runners and servers before, during and after the event.\nEstablishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques.\nDetermine where guests would like to eat their meals and help them get situated.\nThoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.\nPerforms post event product inventory and restocks, as needed.\nCreate, modify and close sales checks in point of sale.\nUnderstands all event paperwork and reports.\nAdheres to location appearance guidelines.\nInteract with ownership groups to ensure that their needs are met routinely.\nMaintains service areas.\nEmploys good safety and sanitation practices.\nFollows responsible alcohol service policies.\nOther duties as assigned.\nJob Duties:\nBe punctual, reliable and available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on event basis.\nAdapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume environments.\nDemonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day and stand for duration of entire shift.\nAbility to obtain and maintain required work cards including Food Handlers Card, California Alcohol Certification.\nAbility to effectively communicate in English in written and oral form.\nAbility to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend.\nLift, push pull up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to work in all weather elements\nSchedule Flexibility: Must be flexible with your schedule and available to attend/execute special events outside of normal work hours.\nTravel: Ability and willingness to travel as required.\nApply to Levy today!\nLevy is a member of Compass Group USA\nClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story\nCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
