You'll help improve financial accountability, strengthen compliance, build local capacity, and ensure partners have the tools and knowledge they need to manage resources effectively.\nThis is not a desk-based accounting role. While a strong accounting foundation is essential, a significant part of the work involves working directly with partners, conducting field visits, facilitating training, reviewing financial practices, and helping teams identify practical solutions to financial and compliance challenges.\nIf you enjoy combining technical finance expertise with coaching, relationship building, and field engagement, this could be an exciting next step in your career.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nSupport FCP Financial Management \nReview monthly financial reports submitted by FCPs(Frontline Church Partner)\nMonitor financial reports and transaction listings to identify risks, trends, gaps, or opportunities for improvement.\nReview consolidated audit findings and support follow-up actions when needed.\nProvide guidance on accounting processes, financial management practices, and compliance requirements.\nHelp FCPs strengthen financial accountability and reporting quality.\nHelp partners understand and apply required financial processes and standards.\nCollaborate with partnership personnel and program trainers to drive consistent implementation practices.\nBuild Capacity Through Training and Coaching\nPlan and facilitate finance-related training sessions for FCP staff and stakeholders.\nDevelop learning resources, tools, and job aids that support financial management improvement.\nCoach finance users when accounting software or process-related challenges arise.\nMentor partner staff to strengthen knowledge, capability, and ownership of financial processes.\nPresent finance-related information to stakeholders from non-finance functions in a clear and practical manner.\nConduct Field Support and Partner Engagement\nTravel regularly to FCP locations to provide direct support and coaching.\nBuild strong working relationships with FCP leadership and finance teams.\nAssess partner needs and identify practical solutions that consider local realities and resource limitations.\nSupport partnership assessments and organizational reviews when required.\nCollaborate with colleagues responsible for FCP monitoring and spot-check activities.\nCollaborate Across Functions\nWork closely with Finance, Partnership, People & Culture, Program Trainers, and National Leadership Team stakeholders.\nServe as a trusted finance resource for both internal teams and FCP partners.\nPromote collaboration between finance and partnership functions to strengthen partner effectiveness.\nSupport initiatives that improve systems, reporting processes, and organizational capacity.\nWhat We're Looking For \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum 7 years of relevant accounting and financial management experience.\nStrong accounting and financial analysis expertise.\nExperience supporting or working directly with partner organizations.\nExperience reviewing partner accounts, financial reports, transaction listings, and financial performance.\nExperience reviewing consolidated audit reports and supporting corrective actions.\nExperience conducting partnership assessments or organizational reviews.\nStrong understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements, and risk management.\nKnowledge of Indonesian tax and VAT regulations.\nStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.\nExcellent facilitation, training, and coaching skills.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to present finance concepts to non-finance audiences.\nExperience leading or supervising staff.\nAbility to work effectively with partners operating in resource-constrained environments.\nWillingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nChartered Accountant certification or completion of a professional accounting qualification.\nExperience supporting grant implementation.\nExperience working with U.S. Government-funded grants and/or European Union-funded grants.\nExperience managing the accounts of large NGO or partner organizations.\nExperience working with church partners or faith-based organizations.\nExperience within the development sector or international NGOs.\nWhat Success Looks Like \nThe person who succeeds in this role will be someone who can balance technical expertise with strong people skills.
