Assists Network Technician I and others as required.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintenance of core, transport, access and headend equipment.\nTroubleshooting and network problem determination. Monitoring and testing network performance.\nEquipment installation at Central Office, headend and remote sites.\nCircuit installation, documentation, testing and maintenance.\nMaintains Central Office and headend inventory and records.\nInstalls and maintains DC power equipment, including rectifiers, UPS and battery backup systems in Central Office, headend and remote sites.\nProvides guidance to Network Technician I. Assists other workgroups with escalations.\nAssists with other work assignments related to group.\nREQUIREMENTS\nHigh School Diploma/GED required; 2 year technical degree preferred\n2 years experience working with technologies used in Network Services.\nComputer literate.
