With roots in one of the fastest-growing data center markets in the world, our growth is as intentional as our impact.\nSummary/Objective:\nThe Assistant Project Manager (APM) bridges technical and managerial responsibilities, executes tasks with increasing ownership and provides support to Project Managers (PMs) and Senior Project Managers (Sr. PMs). The APM will engage with vendors, partners, and customers, develop project documentation, and coordinate field and office operations.\n\nEssential Functions:\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nRelationship Development\nContact and follow up with vendors and partners to support project goals.\nBuild rapport with customers under PM direction.\nDraft team structure, project logistics, and approach summaries for PM review.\n\nCommunication & Coordination\nServe as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders.\nRun smaller meetings and record notes accurately in Procore\nHelp prepare and distribute status reports to stakeholders.\nCoordinates daily and weekly activities with supers and partners.\n\nPlanning, Scheduling & Project Close-Out\nComplete initial project setup in Procore-update directories, assign roles, upload documents, create meeting events, and configure distribution lists with PM guidance.\nSupport creation and distribution of JHA and Site Specific Safety Plan; track certifications and training completion.\nBuild and update master project schedules and 3-week look-ahead in Procore with input from PM.\nDevelop and maintain WBS and MOPs with some independence.\nPrepare and log submittals, RFIs, and responses in Procore under PM supervision.\nManages portions of the close-out process with guidance.\n\nProfit, Budgeting & Procurement Management\nHelp PM organize budget by cost code and enter data in Procore.\nTrack costs and progress against budget, with supervision.\nReview and code timesheets and vendor invoices; confirm accuracy against budgets and PO values; submit to PM for approval. Field work may involve exposure to extreme weather, construction sites, and potentially hazardous materials. Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs/ladders on job sites; lift up to 20 lbs; maneuver in small or confined spaces.\n\nPosition Type:\nThis is a full-time position.\n\nRequired Education and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma and/or equivalent education and experience;\n1+ years of project management or construction-related experience.\n\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Applied Science, or related field.\nCommercial contracting experience, preferably in the data center or mission-critical space.\n\nCompu Dynamics Pay Range\n$65,000—$105,000 USD\nCompu Dynamics offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the health, well-being, and growth of our team members.
