With roots in one of the fastest-growing data center markets in the world, our growth is as intentional as our impact.\nJob Summary \nThe Electrical Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of the Electrical Install Division, owning scheduling, quality control, staffing, and billing. This role ensures all projects are running safely, effectively, and on schedule, supervises Superintendents and field personnel, and works with administration to maximize manpower utilization and profitability across the division. \nEssential Functions \nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. \nDivision Operations and Technical Oversight \nEnsure all installation work is running safely, effectively, and on schedule across the division. \nRead and understand electrical design blueprints; develop conceptual estimates without full design documents. \nEnsure utility locating protocols are followed division-wide. \nEnsure quality control inspections are completed throughout all active projects. \nEnsure projects are staffed and prepared for emergency response at all times. \nSafety and Compliance \nEnsure division-wide OSHA compliance; manage safety incident reporting and corrective action and build a safety-first culture. \nEnsure National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance across the division; manage permitting and code-related issues. \nEnsure client security, safety, and access requirements are met on all active projects. \nPlanning, Scheduling, and Staffing \nEvaluate workload and schedule work across the division to maximize manpower utilization and profitability. \nEvaluate and approve weekly schedules across the division; ensure manpower is optimized. \nManage division staffing at a macro level; recruit and develop the field leadership pipeline. \nLead weekly operations meetings; ensure all Superintendents are aligned on priorities and resources. \nField Performance and Client Relationships \nEnsure all projects are running effectively and on schedule; visit sites to validate field performance. \nEnsure all projects are closed out properly; review final documentation and billing. \nEnsure commissioning is completed safely and on schedule across all active projects. \nVisit customers to maintain and strengthen relationships; conduct quality control inspections. \nCommunication and Documentation \nOversee the RFI and change management process across the division; keep leadership and clients informed on progress and schedule changes. \nOversee documentation quality across the division; ensure records support accurate billing. \nTeam Leadership and Development \nSupervise Superintendents and all Electrical Install field personnel. \nAccomplish staff results through planning, monitoring, coaching, and disciplining as needed. \nRecruit, select, orient, and train employees across the Install Division; oversee the performance evaluation process. \nFinancial and Business Management \nPrepare and define scopes of work and estimates; develop conceptual estimates without full blueprints. \nWork with administration to ensure correct billing; ensure projects are on budget across the division. \nEvaluate workload and schedule work to best utilize manpower and maximize profitability. \nParticipate in formulating long-range goals and objectives for the Electrical Install Division. \nQualifications and Skills \nProven ability to run daily operations across a multi-project electrical division, including scheduling, QC, staffing, and billing. \nAbility to develop scopes of work and conceptual estimates without complete design documents. \nExpert knowledge of NEC, OSHA, permitting, and the inspection process. \nStrong people leadership skills, including recruiting, coaching, and performance management. \nFinancial acumen across budgets, billing, and manpower utilization. \nRequired Education and Experience \nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred. \n10+ years of commercial electrical experience, including operations or multi-project management experience. \nMaster Electrician license preferred. \nData center or mission critical project experience strongly preferred. \nOSHA 30 certification required. \nValid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites and customer facilities. \nSuccess Factors and Company Values \nProfessionalism: Maintains high professionalism with clients, vendors, and colleagues; ensures safety is never traded for speed or cost. \nWork Environment and Physical Demands \nThis role works in a combination of office and field settings, with regular travel to job sites and customer facilities to review field performance, conduct quality control inspections, and maintain client relationships. Office duties require extended periods at a computer. Site visits require use of personal protective equipment and moving through active construction and data center environments. Duties occasionally require standing, walking, sitting, using hands and arms, and lifting up to 20 pounds.\nCompu Dynamics Pay Range\n$150,000—$180,000 USD\nCompu Dynamics offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the health, well-being, and growth of our team members.
