With roots in one of the fastest-growing data center markets in the world, our growth is as intentional as our impact.\n Summary/Objective:\nThe Superintendent is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all in-house manpower and the activities of one or more construction projects across various job sites. This position plays a vital role in ensuring work is performed in accordance with the customer contract, project documents, budget, and schedule. The Superintendent will travel to project sites as needed, primarily supporting mission-critical and commercial construction/data center projects.\nEssential Functions:\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nLays out project work and ensures that materials, tools, equipment, and manpower are scheduled in a timely manner to meet scope, budget, and construction schedules.\n\nMonitors worksite safety and ensures all work is completed with zero accidents.\n\nCoordinates with client personnel and internal project teams to ensure compliance with site-specific security, safety, and access protocols.\n\nCommunicates design changes, RFIs, and submittals to the field team and ensures alignment across stakeholders.\n\nSchedules and oversees inspections as required by local and state codes and arranges final inspections.\n\nPrepares daily logs documenting site conditions, manpower, and activities.\n\nCollaborates with the Director of Operations, Operations Manager, and foremen to maintain project momentum.\n\nOversees punch list completion and project closeout efforts.\n\nGenerates pre-construction material and tool lists and develops lookahead schedules for foremen.\n\nDirectly supervises assigned field personnel and trade contractors to ensure quality, timeline, and budget expectations are met.\n\nAssists in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of field employees; promotes a safe and growth-oriented work environment.\n\nEvaluates staff performance, coaches team members, and supports ongoing employee development.\n\nConducts timely and comprehensive performance evaluations.\n\nOperates company vehicles and equipment in compliance with safety protocols and traffic laws.\n\nSubmits weekly workforce schedules for field and temp labor to support operations planning.\n\nMaintains and updates staffing forecasts to support proactive workforce planning.\n\nParticipates in weekly operations meetings and project lifecycle touchpoints (kickoff, updates, closeout).\n\nLeads on-site commissioning activities and supports successful turnover.\n\nSupports estimating efforts, site surveys, and customer walk-throughs as needed.\n\nCompetencies:\nStrong problem-solving abilities\n\nExcellent communication and time management skills\n\nAbility to multi-task and manage priorities under pressure\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam\n\nTeam leadership and mentorship\n\nSupervisory Responsibility:\nThis role has direct supervisory responsibility over subcontractors, vendors, foremen, and other field staff.\nWork Environment:\nThis role operates in a field environment and involves exposure to construction-related hazards, weather conditions, and potential high-voltage systems. Work may be required outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing this role, the employee may be required to stand, walk, climb ladders, use hands, reach, push/pull, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds.\nPosition Type:\nThis is a full-time position.\n\nRequired Education and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\n15+ years of commercial construction/mission-critical experience, including 5 years in a supervisory capacity\n\nValid driver’s license in good standing\n\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nExperience in data center construction\n\nPrevious experience working in multiple jurisdictions or jobsite travel roles\n\nMilitary Codes: 3E071, 12H, 1141, 0111, AD, ETN, AE, 7930, 2740\nCompu Dynamics Pay Range\n$90,000—$140,000 USD\nCompu Dynamics offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the health, well-being, and growth of our team members.
