Putting the customer at the center of every engagement, our mission is to design, test, deploy and support the right IT solutions for every customer.\nWe offer a generous total compensation package for our employees, including competitive wages, medical, dental, vision, PTO, company-matching retirement plans, profit-sharing and more. \nCompuNet is looking for an Associate Project Manager to direct the successful delivery of Cybersecurity projects, ensuring work aligns with customer expectations, project goals, and CompuNet’s standards. \nAs an Associate Project Manager, you will work with a diverse set of stakeholders - including internal teams and external partners - while owning the key responsibilities of project kick off and closeout, project supervision, proactive communication, fulfillment of project milestones, and financial tracking. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and skilled at balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. \nEssential Duties & Responsibilities \nThe Associate Project Manager for Cybersecurity will report to the Senior Manager of Project Management and work closely with Sales, Engineering, Service Portfolio, Partner Enablement, and Operations roles to ensure the successful delivery of projects. As demand for this role increases, opportunities for growth may include a promotion to Project Manager or expansion into other specializations to meet customer demand. \nProject Coordination \nDemonstrate strong organizational skills by effectively coordinating and monitoring multiple projects across a diverse set of customers, industries, and geographies. \nComplete recurring project coordination activities, including the ability to: \nSchedule internal and customer-facing project kickoff meetings. \nTrack project scope, budget, forecasted and confirmed schedules, and the status of deliverables (or outcomes) against a Statement or Work (SOW) or written contract. \nMaintain steady communication flows and collaborate with CompuNet teams and customers to ensure projects stay on track. \nCommunication flows may include participation in status meetings, the development of meeting summaries or written status reports, proactively communicating risks, etc. \nUpdate project records (data fields) in ConnectWise as projects progress. \nReconcile and initiate customer invoices, for full or progress billing, throughout the engagement. Close project phases in ConnectWise as appropriate. \nManage customer-requested changes to a project’s scope - facilitating completion of change orders as appropriate. \nMonitor customers’ satisfaction. Escalate any issues or early warning signs of dissatisfaction to the Account Executive and Service Delivery. \nEnsure predictable, consistent, and high-quality project delivery in accordance with industry best practices. \nProactively engage with Service Delivery for each region and their respective markets, providing high level updates on project progress, timeline, and issues impacting project health. \nCollaborate with the Cybersecurity Program Lead on complex projects, helping extend portfolio capacity while maintaining consistent coordination, communication, and delivery standards. \nContract Administration & Quality Control \nTrack agreements throughout the escalation process, engage Cybersecurity and Regional Leadership teams to ensure timely resolution and delivery. \nEnsure customer access to the document repository of in-progress and final deliverables. \nFacilitate a process that confirms the customer’s acceptance of any ‘final’ deliverables or outcomes. \nPrior to each project closing, audit the SOW and any supplementary agreements or change orders to ensure all deliverables have been received, accepted by customer, and performance by members of the project team falls within defined parameters. \nConduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture insights and improve project delivery processes. \nTravel Expectations \nOccasional travel may be required to visit project sites or CompuNet offices. \nEducation & Experience \nMinimum Qualifications \nBachelor’s degree in a business-related field, information technology, or 4+ years of work experience. \nMinimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Project Coordinator, Associate Project Manager or similar role focused on customer service and the facilitation of customer outcomes. \nExperience with contract administration, invoicing, and general accounting practices (AP/AR). \nPreferred Experience \nCertified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent project management certification. \nCareer experience tracking and managing projects with a duration of 3 to 12 months. \nCareer experience working with information technology roles and teams. \nKnowledge of vendor management practices, including the ability to enforce contract terms and adherence to service level agreements. \nCareer experience in a position with detailed time accounting and billable utilization requirements. \nDesired Skills & Abilities \nTime Management - able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines. \nSelf-Directed - able to take tasks from inception to completion with a high level of accountability. \nProfessional Communication - possesses strong verbal, written, visual (presentation), and interpersonal communication skills. \nTechnical Writing - able to develop clear, accurate, and professional written materials, including project documentation, status reports, meeting summaries, and customer-facing communications. \nDetail Oriented - passionate about completing tasks accurately and mitigating risk. \nTeam Player - collaborates, builds trust, and develops innovative solutions within a team environment. \nMulti-Tasking - able to prioritize and execute against competing requests in a fast-paced environment. \nMicrosoft Savvy - an intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft 365 business applications for the purpose of collaborating, creating, and customizing project deliverables. \nUser of ConnectWise Manage - able to effectively navigate and work within ConnectWise Manage for the purpose of project set-up, tracking, closeout, and general data management. \nThinks Ahead - communicates ideas to improve processes and procedures with a positive and constructive attitude. \nCybersecurity & Risk Awareness - demonstrates a working understanding of cybersecurity terminology, frameworks, products, processes, services, and solutions, with exposure to risk management and risk mitigation practices. \nIndependent Learner - willing and able to quickly learn and adapt to new industry concepts, processes, tools, and technologies. \nWho we are\nCompuNet, Inc. is an engineering-led IT solution provider that offers consulting, design, and professional services.
