We are seeking an Enterprise Networking Solutions Engineer to join our team serving our Spokane market. This role will perform the following responsibilities:\nDeliver best-practice network designs and implementations producing reliable, available, and scalable network solutions\nPerform analysis, diagnosis, and fault isolation of existing client network issues\nPrepare project proposals including Bill of Materials, Engineering Professional Services Estimate, and Statement of Work\nPrepare and deliver post implementation documentation to clients\nMaintain and develop relationships with clients\nServe as a hands-on post-sales engineer implementing and supporting networking projects\nPhysically install equipment including routers, switches, and other network infrastructure as needed\nPerform upgrades on customer equipment\nAnticipate IT industry trends and future directions, understand client business objectives, and incorporate this information into proposed architectural solutions to fit future needs and initiatives\nDiscover, audit and document client infrastructures\nProvide technical thought leadership while interacting closely with clients\nMaintain and increase technical certifications based upon certification requirement changes and business market requirements\nWho you are\nYou’re a strong team player that is invested in helping your customers succeed and contributing to a great company culture. You have the following knowledge, skills, abilities and/or education:\n3 to 5+ years designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise LAN/WAN networks\nStrong hands-on knowledge of the following Cisco networking solutions including LAN, WAN, switching (L2 & L3), routing (BGP, OSPF & EIGRP), data center, wireless, firewalling, VPN, QoS, & MPLS\nProficient in IOS, IOS-XE and NX-OS\nStrong knowledge of routers, Catalyst/Nexus switches, wireless solutions, SD-WAN, and Next Gen Firewalls\nExperience in creating and defining new network architectures and explaining complex issues/situations\nAbility to explore new ideas and make innovative contributions to existing network processes or solutions\nExcellent documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication skills and client-facing skills\nCCNA Route/Switch with equivalent experience, CCNP, or CCDP\nMaintain technical certifications\nExperience troubleshooting network issues\nAn outstanding candidate would have one or more of the following qualifications in addition to the above:\nKnowledge and experience with implementation and support of the following:\nCisco and Meraki wireless networks. Knowledge of other vendor wireless networks, such as Mist, Aruba, or Arista\nDemonstrate solid understanding of 802.11 protocols\nWireless survey tools\nThorough understanding of wireless network survey process\nKnowledge of predictive and physical survey techniques\nSpectrum analysis tools\nAbility to design and support a wide range of requirements in a wireless network, including:\nbasic office, high-density, wireless voice, and high-bandwidth wireless networks\nExperience with Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE)\nExperience with Cisco DNA\nExperience with Meraki cloud networking products\nExperience gathering customer requirements, white boarding/presenting solutions, developing a Bill of Materials (BOM) and preparing project Statements of Work (SOWs)\nCCIE or equivalent experience and knowledge\nCCNP Wireless or CCNP Route/Switch or CWNA or equivalent experience\n5+ years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks\nAssociate degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field\nWho we are\nCompuNet, Inc. is an engineering-led IT solution provider that offers consulting, design, and professional services.
