Putting the customer at the center of every engagement, our mission is to design, test, deploy and support the right IT solutions for every customer.\nWe offer a generous total compensation package for our employees, including competitive wages, medical, dental, vision, PTO, company-matching retirement plans, profit-sharing and more. \nAs a Microsoft Data Engineer at CompuNet, you will design, build, optimize, and modernize enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL Server, and related technologies. \nRole Expectations \nTechnical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Data and Analytics technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, SQL and Power BI. \nConsulting & Engagement: Deliver customer-focused consulting engagements and guide data modernization initiatives. \nSolution Architecture: Architect secure, scalable, governed data platforms. \nCommunication & Leadership: Partner with business and technical stakeholders. \nCore Duties and Responsibilities \nDesign and support modern Microsoft data platforms in Azure and Microsoft Fabric. \nBuild enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions. \nDevelop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Fabric Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and Databricks. \nCreate scalable data models and analytics solutions. \nImplement governance, lineage, security, and compliance controls. \nOptimize performance, scalability, reliability, and cost. \nSupport Power BI, analytics, and AI initiatives. \nImplement DevOps, Git, and CI/CD practices. \nKey Expectations \nServe as a Microsoft Data subject matter expert, lead customer engagements, develop Statements of Work, and maintain relevant certifications. \nMinimum Requirements \n5+ years designing enterprise data solutions. \n3+ years working with Azure Data Services. \nExpertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and Power BI. \nAdvanced SQL and data modeling experience. \nExperience with data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses, ETL/ELT, governance, Python, Spark, and DataOps. \nExperience implementing and optimizing a Medallion Architecture. \nStrong consulting and stakeholder management skills. \nPreferred Requirements \nBachelor’s degree in related field. \nPreferred Certifications: DP-203, DP-600, PL-300, DP-300, AI-102, AZ-305. \nHands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks at scale. \nExperience working with data architectures specifically for LLM use-cases. \nCompensation and Benefits \nWe offer a full and comprehensive compensation package, including: \nMedical, dental, vision, Employee Assistance Program, and Flexible Spending Accounts \nLife and AD&D insurance, disability coverage, critical illness, and accident insurance \nPaid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays \nCompany-matching 401(k) and profit sharing \nCompetitive salary, with eligibility for variable compensation such as commission, bonuses, and profit sharing included \nWho we are\nCompuNet, Inc. is an engineering-led IT solution provider that offers consulting, design, and professional services.
