As a Senior 3rd Line Analyst, you'll provide expert support across Virtualisation and End User Computing environments, acting as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues while helping to drive service improvements and operational excellence.\nWorking closely with customers, suppliers, project teams and service delivery colleagues, you'll play a key role in maintaining resilient, secure and high-performing workplace services.\nWhat you'll do\nProvide 3rd line support for enterprise Virtualisation and Workplace Technology services.\nAct as a senior technical escalation point for complex incidents and problems.\nLead root cause investigations and continual service improvement initiatives.\nSupport service transition and project delivery activities.\nCollaborate with customers, vendors and managed service providers to deliver positive outcomes.\nProduce and maintain technical documentation, procedures and knowledge articles.\nParticipate in major incident and on-call support activities where required.\nWhat you'll need\nTechnical Skills\nYou'll need to either currently hold UK Government Security Clearance (SC) or be eligible and willing to undertake the check. Strong experience supporting enterprise-scale Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), End User Computing (EUC) and Virtualisation technologies, including:\nVMware Horizon View / Horizon 8\nCitrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)\nCitrix Provisioning Services (PVS)\nCitrix Machine Creation Services (MCS)\nFSLogix\nMicrosoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS)\nWindows 10/11 Enterprise\nMicrosoft Endpoint Management\nUser Environment Management (UEM)\nApp-V and Ivanti AppSense\nVMware vSphere and VMware Cloud technologies\nMicrosoft Hyper-V\nCitrix Hypervisor\nSimpliVity (desirable)\nPowerShell scripting and automation\nDisaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions\nServiceNow and ITIL-based service management.\nExperience & Attributes\nExperience supporting large-scale enterprise IT environments.\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nStrong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management experience.\nExperience working with multiple suppliers, MSPs and third-party partners.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.\nExperience producing operational and management-level reporting.\nCertifications\nEssential\nOmnissa Certified Engineer (OCE-H)\nCitrix Certified Professional - Virtualisation (CCP-V)\nDesirable\nVMware Certified Professional - VMware Cloud Foundation (VCP-VCF)\nAbout us\nWe are a leading independent technology and services provider, trusted by large corporate and public sector organisations.
