We are family-friendly and supportive.\nThe role:\nTechnical Services is a fast-paced environment delivering a wide variety of customer builds and services every day.\nAs a Technical Services Supervisor, you'll lead a team within a busy technical operation, ensuring customer commitments, SLAs and quality standards are consistently achieved. You'll coordinate resources, support engineers, monitor workflow and act as a key escalation point for operational issues.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role. While you'll be responsible for guiding and developing the team, you'll also be willing to get involved in configuration, deployment and testing activities when required.\nWe're particularly interested in candidates with experience in technical services, configuration, deployment, logistics, workshop or engineering environments who are ready to take the next step in their leadership career.\nWhat you'll do\nDay to day:\nLead, coach and support Engineers and team members within the Technical Services operation.\nManage workload, resource allocation and workflow to ensure customer commitments and SLA targets are met.\nMonitor operational performance, escalating risks and resolving issues to minimise service impact.\nMaintain high standards of quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.\nBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders and communicate effectively across all levels of the business.\nContribute to hands-on configuration, deployment, testing and troubleshooting activities when required.\nEnsure policies, procedures and audit requirements are followed and maintained.\nLeadership:\nCreate a positive, supportive and accountable team culture.\nMotivate, develop and inspire team members to achieve operational goals.\nAct as a role model through personal conduct and contribution.\nEncourage open communication, collaboration and continuous improvement.\nWhat You'll Need\nEssential:\nExperience working within a fast-paced technical services, deployment, logistics or operational environment.\nPrevious supervisory, team leadership or people management experience.\nStrong organisational, planning and workload management skills.\nExcellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nExperience working within SLA-driven environments.\nA proactive, customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail.\nAbility to multitask, prioritise effectively and perform under pressure.\nHands-on experience with computer configuration, deployment or related technical activities.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.\nDesirable:\nExperience using CCS, WMCS or similar warehouse management systems.\nExperience within IT configuration, deployment or technical services environments.\nRelevant supervisory, leadership or technical qualifications.\nAdditional information\nCountry: UK\nLocation: Hatfield (on site)\nHours: 37.5 per week - shifts between 7am to 7pm - Monday to Friday\nRole type: Permanent\nAbout us\nWe are a leading independent technology and services provider, trusted by large corporate and public sector organisations.
