Reporting into the Group Head of External Reporting, you'll become part of a collaborative and supportive team responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, technical accounting guidance and governance across the Group.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant seeking their first move into industry, or an individual with a combination of audit and industry experience looking to broaden their exposure. The team is intentionally lean, providing the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting and reporting activities while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.\nWhat you'll do\nSupport the preparation and delivery of Group financial reporting and Board reporting activities.\nAssist with technical accounting assessments, accounting policy implementation and regulatory reporting requirements.\nSupport Group consolidations and the accounting treatment of acquisitions, disposals and other complex transactions.\nWork closely with finance teams across multiple countries to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial information.\nContribute to statutory reporting and compliance activities across the Group.\nAnalyse and interpret financial data, providing insight and recommendations where appropriate.\nSupport business initiatives and projects that impact Group reporting processes and controls.\nBuild strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Company Secretariat and wider business functions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and efficiencies.\nWhat you'll need\nACA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.\nA Big Four or leading audit practice background is strongly preferred.\nExperience operating at Senior Associate or Assistant Manager level within audit, or equivalent experience combining audit and industry accounting.\nStrong understanding of financial reporting principles and accounting standards.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate complex financial matters clearly to a variety of stakeholders.\nStrong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.\nA proactive and adaptable approach with the ability to work across a varied workload.\nExperience working with international stakeholders would be advantageous.\nAbout us\nWe are a leading independent technology and services provider, trusted by large corporate and public sector organisations.
