Located at our Livermore integration center and warehouse, you will support health and safety compliance across all five of our integration center facilities as well as office locations.\nLocations: Romulus, MI | Atlanta, GA | Houston, TX | Memphis, TN\nWhat you'll be doing\nAssist with developing and implementing health and safety programs;\nRefine and improve existing health and safety policies;\nAssist in conducting or reviewing risk assessments, including in response to incidents and as part of a continuous cycle of improvement, and propose remediation measures where needed;\nTrack remediation of any identified hazards and follow up with management to ensure completion;\nDevelop health and safety related trainings, generate and coordinate a schedule of training, and, where applicable, assist with conducting training;\nPropose a health and safety communication schedule, and develop communication collateral;\nProvide instruction, oversight, maintenance, and continuous improvement of incident management system;\nMaintain company health and safety-related records according to standards, including confidentiality;\nAssist with responses to health and safety internal and external audits;\nCoordinate with HR and/or functional managers to track and ensure completion of health and safety requirements such as trainings, hazard assessments and remediation, and periodic equipment inspections;\nMonitor the business to ensure the Company keeps up with safety-related requirements such as equipment maintenance and training;\nAssist with development and implementation of audit programs to review and assure compliance with applicable health and safety standards and systems;\nAccompany visiting inspectors upon request, and report on findings;\nMaintain current awareness of applicable federal, state and local health, industrial hygiene and safety regulations. \nPartner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.\nEmbrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.\nWhat you have\nLegally eligible to work in the United States\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\nAt least 1 year of recent experience in health and safety-related position\nGood knowledge and experience of MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and MS Teams\nExcellent attention to detail\nStrategic and analytical thinking and tactical execution skills\nA background experience in fast moving industries\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nComfortable communicating with colleagues in different countries where English is not the first spoken language\nGood self-organization and time management skills\nAbility to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously\nCan build trust, be assertive when required and shows initiative and enthusiasm\nResilience, and ability to control demeanor and act confidently in challenging or stressful situations\nTeam-oriented working and thinking\nWillingness to engage in occasional travel\nWhat you can expect\nThere’s so much more to enjoy about being at Computacenter than just having a rewarding career.
