Working closely with technical teams, service management, and key stakeholders, you’ll help ensure IT assets are well managed, visible, and delivering value throughout their lifecycle. The team values collaboration, continuous improvement, and attention to detail.\nMust be SC Cleared, or willingness to undertake\nWhat you'll do\nDevelop and implement SACM policies, standards and procedures\nOperationally lead a team in day-to-day activities\nEnsure the CMDB is accurate, up-to-date and complies with all organisational standards & regulatory requirements\nDevelop and optimise best-practice SACM processes both within the team and in advising other stakeholders, ITIL functions and service owners\nDevelop and deliver regular reports on SACM activities, providing insights and recommendations\nMonitor asset utilisation and compliance along with cost optimisation recommendations\nPerform regular internal & external audits and compliance activities, including risk management.\nAssist with testing and configuration of Asset/CI tooling integrations\nWhat you'll need\nAbility to obtain or hold UK Government Security Clearance\n2+ years’ experience in IT Asset Management or a related role\nExperience with ITSM / asset management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Remedy)\nExcellent working knowledge of SACM structure and its purpose, including how SACM underpins governance, control, and service stability.\nGood understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and inventory best practices\nAwareness of software licensing models (e.g. Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle)\nStrong analytical and reporting skills\nAdvanced Excel skills; Power BI experience desirable\nExcellent communication skills and strong attention to detail\nThis role is ideal for someone looking to develop their SACM expertise in a structured, supportive environment while making a tangible impact on compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency.\nAbout us\nComputacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, with about 21,000 employees worldwide.
