You’ll also act as a key point of contact between the operational team, customers and management.\nIf you’re organised, customer-focused and enjoy bringing out the best in a team while keeping operations running smoothly, this could be a great opportunity for you.\nThis role will require Security Clearance or the willingness to obtain this. This is an onsite position at our Hatfield site.\nWhat you’ll do\nSupervise the day-to-day activities of the logistics team \nEnsure customer orders are completed within agreed SLAs and deadlines \nMonitor workflow, workload and resource allocation to maximise efficiency \nSupport inbound and outbound warehouse operations \nProvide guidance and support to the team during busy periods and changing priorities \nPromote a positive team culture focused on accountability, collaboration and customer service \nMonitor work queues and support effective workload planning \nMaintain accurate operational records and reporting \nAct as an escalation point for customer and operational issues \nLiaise with customers, colleagues and internal teams via phone, email and meetings \nEscalate risks and issues appropriately to minimise impact on service \nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction \nWhat you’ll need\nExperience working within a fast-paced warehouse, logistics or operational environment \nPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience would be advantageous \nA good understanding of working within an SLA-driven environment \nStrong organisational and time-management skills \nGood administrative and reporting skills \nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills \nThe ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively \nConfidence working under pressure and to demanding deadlines \nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality \nA customer-focused mindset and the confidence to communicate with people at all levels \nAble to obtain Security Clearance \nAbout us\nComputacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, with about 21,000 employees worldwide.
