The ideal candidate will have an extensive track record working in pre-sales and delivering IT projects and programs. The candidate will be accustomed to collaborating with professional services sales, service delivery and service development functions. Successful candidates will directly influence the development of project delivery capabilities within the Projects Practice to successfully execute against our customer’s strategic objectives.\nWhat you'll be doing\nPartner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.\nResponsibility for both the delivery of customer engagements and line management of around 15 project managers (regional travel essential)\nAccountable for assurance, governance & customer satisfaction\nContinuously maintaining and innovating the Practice capability in support of the business strategy\nProactively supporting growth with the development and delivery of standardized, competitive and market-relevant service offerings\nProviding thought leadership and subject matter expertise into and out of the Practice; working collaboratively with stakeholders within the business and externally with customers and vendors\nOperational and commercial management of the team to achieve financial targets, competitiveness and improved productivity & quality.\nDrive a high-performance culture across the Practice; developing, retaining and attracting the best talent\nEmbrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.\nWhat you have\nLegally eligible to work in the United States.\n5+ years of management experience\nYou must have recent experience leading delivery of large-scale IT infrastructure projects (ideally on a workplace platform on behalf of a professional service organization) with responsibility for the commercial outcome.\nYou should have experience of applying appropriate governance and control in overseeing delivery of projects.
