Working as part of an Agile product team, the developer contributes to delivering enhancements, features, and fixes that support Computacenter’s CRM, CPQ, and emerging Salesforce capabilities (Service, Marketing, Data Cloud, AI).\nWhat you will do\nDevelop, customise, and extend Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and platform configuration.\nBuild integrations (inbound & outbound) following platform guardrails and best practices.\nTranslate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.\nProduce technical documentation including technical design specs, data models, and integration patterns.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across environments.\nBuild unit tests and ensure adherence to Salesforce coding standards.\nSupport release cycles managed via CI/CD, ensuring code quality through Gearset/Pipelines (aligned with Release Manager responsibilities).\nParticipate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and reviews.\nCollaborate closely with Product Owners, Functional Consultants, Architects, testers and Admins.\nSupport prototyping, fit-gap analysis, and impact assessment for new features and seasonal releases.\nWork with the Technical Lead and Architects on scalable solution designs.\nEngage with cross-functional teams (GIS, CTO architecture, business stakeholders) following the operating model practices referenced in CC Salesforce governance materials.\nIdentify opportunities to optimise the platform, automate processes, and introduce innovative designs.\nStay current with new Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends (as emphasised by CC’s platform operating principles).\nWhat you'll need\nStrong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP), and platform configuration.\nExperience working on complex Salesforce orgs with multi-cloud components (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ).\nProven track record developing secure, scalable, and performance-optimised solutions.\nKnowledge of CI/CD tools such as Gearset, Copado, or Azure DevOps.\nExperience with Salesforce CPQ, RCA and/or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement\nKnowledge of middleware (MuleSoft, Informatica) and broader integration patterns.\nFamiliarity with Salesforce Data Cloud and AI capabilities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset.\nAbility to collaborate in a cross-functional Agile team.\nExcellent communication skills and stakeholder management.\nSalesforce Platform Developer I (required).\nSalesforce Platform Developer II (preferred).\nAdditional certifications (Admin, CPQ Specialist) beneficial.\nAbout us\nComputacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, with about 21,000 employees worldwide.
