By working in tandem with our international colleagues, we extend our global reach to support some of the world’s largest organisations, ensuring they receive the highest standard of service and innovative market propositions tailored to their unique requirements\nWhat you’ll do\nSupporting Lead Project Managers and also managing smaller/less complex assignments or work streams on larger projects and programmes for external or internal customers.\nBe conversant with and adhere to our methodologies for delivering Professional Services engagement outcomes to our customers. \nWhen engaged in Pre-Sales, support the LPM to define scope, agree requirements, produce the cost model and plans and produce a Statement of Work or provide assurance for others, whilst following the correct governance and approval processes. \nMaintain and/or create the Project Plan. \nRun, contribute to, or support the LPM in delivering initiation Workshops.\nManage the assignment in line with financial rules and commitments. \nCreate/contribute to ensure all relevant documents, tools and logs are stored on the Customer site and are up to date to enable central reporting. \nCreate, or help deliver Product Descriptions (PDs) for key project deliverables which are normally defined in presales, but you will need to understand the requirements and outcomes. \nManage/enable the identified project resources (direct, matrixed via ISPs or third parties) necessary to deliver the agreed products/deliverables in the required timescales. \nPrepare and deliver (or contribute to) project Highlight or Checkpoint reports and participate in reviews with customers and the project team. \nEnsure all relevant documents, tools and logs are stored on the Customer site and are up to date to enable central reporting. \nRegularly update all stakeholders and your team on progress against plan, or support the LPM, by use of project Highlight or Checkpoint reports and participate in reviews with customers and the project team, as required.\nManage (or contribute to managing) risk, issues and dependencies and maintain the project risk, issue and dependency registers on the Customer site. Take or support mitigation activities to reduce risk and resolve issues. Understand the impact of any issue on other projects or activities. o Manage or support escalations to resolution. \nSupport the management of third party and delivery teams, ensuring they meet their obligations in accordance with the approved Statement(s) of Work (SoW). \nKeep Computacenter Partner Management informed of sub-contractor performance, as required. \nSupport positive recognition and/or interventions for your team members/colleagues and work with/support the Assignment Leader(s) where improvements are necessary. \nContribute to/attend Project Boards, as required. \nHave a working knowledge of Internal Service Providers and what services they provide in support of any project you are managing/delivering.\nTo be engaged with other areas as required, including Consultancy, Engineer ng (TRG), Group Managed Services (GMS), Service Management and the sales team.\nProject Management throughout the life cycle \nMay provide remote support to a project team from the CPMO\nAct in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organisation.\nWhat you’ll need\n10 to 12 years of experience. \nTrained in Project Management, for example Prince2, to Foundation level and working towards a Practitioner qualification or equivalent, Agile techniques. \nA demonstrable track record of delivering successful project outcomes. \nGood interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships. \nAware of the need to be Emotionally Intelligent, to adapt personal style and approach to meet customer needs. \nBe able to understand the Business outputs required from your assignment. \nSkilled user of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Project and other relevant tools. \nGood literacy and numeracy skills.\nAbout us\nComputacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, with about 21,000 employees worldwide.
