Senior Project Managers will also provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced Project Managers / Project Coordinators. It is expected that the majority of time (70%) will be in customer facing activities.\nWhat you'll be doing\nPartners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.\nLead the planning and implementation of project(s) throughout the project lifecycle, initiation through closure.\nOversee the review of project scope, goals and deliverables both internally and externally.\nOversee and Develop a project task list (tracker), risk/issue/action, project contacts and a full-scale project plan as required within Computacenter United States Inc’s approved applications and systems.\nAssemble and coordinate project resources both internally, externally and with 3rd parties.\nManage project budget, resource allocation, project plan, project trackers and project timelines as required.\nTrack and advise on project deliverables and tasks using appropriate applications, systems, and/or tools.\nOwn and resolve any issues that arise during the project and drive risk mitigation.\nDrive team accountability for project results of staying on-budget, on-schedule, and maintain client satisfaction.\nCommunicate with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to project scope, tasks, deliverables, goals, resources, schedules and budgets.\nCommunicate expectations to stakeholders and team, gaining acceptance and accomplishing customers business objectives.\nIdentify resources required to fulfill project delivery, collaborating with other Project Managers, the Resource Management Group and other groups as required to determine which project resources are available in order to schedule project workload and make assignments.\nThe Senior PM should work with the Resource Management Group to explore ways to drive efficiencies on third party project delivery.\nOversee all products and corresponding issues (software licensing, shipment logistics, DOA's, late or changed shipment dates) are coordinated with customer and Computacenter United States Inc Sales and Engineering teams.\nProvide status reporting throughout the project to internal and external stakeholders on progress against project schedule, and any issues and their accompanying mitigations.\nQuickly escalate to next level of management and/or senior management any project related issues/risks that will impact the project negatively.\nEnsure all project team timecards, expense reports, status reports, issue documentation, project tracker(s), project plan(s) and project documentation are entered and/or updated into the Computacenter United States Inc applications & systems in a timely fashion, verifying accuracy and completeness.\nObtain client sign-off on the Project Completion Form.\nPerform invoicing and project closure functions including sending and following up on Customer Satisfaction Survey’s.\nSenior PM’s will be called upon to mentor those around them in aspects of leadership, methodology, tools, people skills, and navigating difficult customer environments.\nSenior PM’s will be called upon to conduct mid project checks as well, as after action meetings for continual improvement.\nSenior PM’s will be expected to have the ability to turn around any sized project that may not be performing up to Computacenter United States Inc’s high-quality expectations.\nEmbrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.\nWhat you have\nBachelor’s degree preferred.\nMinimum 7-10 years’ experience in Project Management within the IT industry.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.\nPMP certification is a plus.\nExperience with Salesforce is a plus.\nLegally eligible to work in the United States.\nExpert knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.\nExpert knowledge of project management techniques and tools.\nDirect work experience in project management capacity.\nProven ability to motivate and build strong teams.\nExperience coaching and mentoring.\nExcellent customer interfacing skills.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nProven experience in effective meeting facilitation.\nProven experience in people management.\nProven experience in issue & risk management.\nProven ability to multi-task, stay organized, and work efficiently.\nProven ability to work independently, as well as with peers.\nProven ability to problem solve and perform analysis.\nProficient in project management software.\nStrong knowledge of technical concepts, terms and practices used in the assessment and implementation of IT Infrastructure and Services.\nSupervises, directs and controls the activities of assigned staff.\nInterviews, schedules, trains and assigns work.\nEstablishes performance expectations and monitors results.\nDevelop and nurture a team to highlight strengths and raise the bar for talent.\nEnsures a trained, motivated and professional staff capable of providing efficient and effective operations and exceptional member service.\nRecommends the discipline and/or discharge of staff, while maintaining required personnel
