The Service Designer ensures solutions are feasible, scalable, and commercially sound, aligned to Computacenter’s delivery capabilities and methodology.\nWorking closely with Services Sales, Delivery, and Commercial Finance, the Service Designer defines the delivery model for each opportunity including WBS, staffing, assumptions, risks, and timelines. This is a critical role in sales campaign ensuring services are structured for successful and repeatable execution.\nAnnual Compensation: $160K - $180K USD\nWhat you'll be doing\nTranslate customer requirements and engagement scope into delivery-ready service designs\nDevelop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), task hierarchies, and delivery sequencing\nBuild staffing models, resource plans, and project timelines\nOwn and produce the Service Design Package (SDP) including delivery approach, scope, and SOW inputs\nDefine and document assumptions, constraints, dependencies, and customer responsibilities\nDevelop effort-based cost inputs aligned to scope and delivery model\nIdentify cost drivers, risks to margin, and optimization opportunities\nSupport pricing discussions through clear scope definition, assumptions, and trade-offs\nPartner with Services Sales, Delivery, PMO, and Commercial Finance to validate feasibility and alignment\nEngage subject matter experts to validate design assumptions and delivery approach\nIdentify and document delivery risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans\nSupport deal governance, approvals, and compliance processes\nEnsure structured handoff from pre-sales to delivery teams\nContribute to standardization, templates, and scalable service design frameworks\nEmbrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.\nWhat you have\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field\n5-10 years of experience in IT services delivery, service design, solution architecture, or program delivery roles\nPrior experience working in a systems integrator, IT services provider, or enterprise IT organization\nProven experience supporting or building service delivery models for complex, multi-site or multi-workstream engagements\nHands-on experience developing WBS, staffing models, delivery plans, or service documentation\nExposure to pre-sales, RFP, or bid response processes for services-led opportunities\nExperience working across multiple technology domains such as workplace, networking, and data center\nFamiliarity with IT services delivery lifecycle, methodologies, and governance processes\nLegally eligible to work in the United States\nSelf-starting and results driven though clear prioritization of deliverables\nAbility to identify and articulate risks, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints\nExperience building staffing models, effort estimates, and resource plans\nStrong cross-functional collaboration skills across Sales, Delivery and PMO.\nAbility to operate effectively in high-velocity, ambiguous pre-sales environments\nStrong documentation and presentation skills across WBS, SOW inputs, process flows, and service artifacts\nProficiency in tools such as Excel (modeling), Visio/Lucid (workflows), PowerPoint (presentations), and Word (documentation)\nWorking knowledge of IT infrastructure domains including workplace, networking, data center, and related services\nAbility to balance standardization and customization to drive repeatable, scalable service designs\nManaging and minimizing risk to bid deliverables and ensuring we always have the customer and customer deliverables in mind\nWhat you can expect\nThere’s so much more to enjoy about being at Computacenter than just having a rewarding career.
