The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring platform reliability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence. Working closely with Development, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams, you will drive automation, observability, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives across enterprise applications.\nWhat you'll do\nPerform a complex range of technical work activities to meet business and customer requirements.\nEnsure the reliability, availability, and performance of Java applications and microservices running in production environments.\nMonitor application and infrastructure health using enterprise observability and monitoring tools.\nParticipate in incident management, troubleshooting production issues, and performing root cause analysis.\nDevelop and maintain automation solutions to reduce operational overhead and improve service stability.\nCoordinate small teams delivering work packages in line with company processes and customer requirements.\nProvide technical leadership within the Java SRE and application support domain.\nCollaborate with Development, Platform Engineering, Cloud, and Security teams to improve service resilience and scalability.\nManage CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments across multiple environments.\nCreate and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, knowledge articles, and technical procedures.\nContribute to the development of standards, best practices, and operational excellence initiatives.\nPerform performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive system optimization.\nEscalate issues appropriately in line with company processes to ensure customer expectations are met.\nCommunicate effectively on complex technical issues, minimizing business impact and avoiding unnecessary escalations.\nEvaluate escalations and drive timely resolution to meet service commitments.\nProvide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a consistent support experience.\nWhat you'll need\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\n6+ years DevOps/SRE experience.\nWindows & Linux OS experience.\nShell scripting experience.\nPowerShell scripting experience.\nBuilding pipelines and job management with Jenkins CD/CI tool.\nDocker experience.\nTomcat administration.\nPrevious experience of working in complicated technical environments preferably in eCommerce.\nDemonstrates good oral and written communications skills. \nCapable of liaison with Senior IS Management and key business stakeholders.\nProven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. \nRoutine administrative skills\nAbout us\nComputacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, with about 21,000 employees worldwide.
