In this role, you will work to ensure that the highest standards in maintenance are consistently achieved. As part of the MHE department, you will be involved in maintaining and servicing a range of systems and effective recovery/rectification of any faults/planned maintenance on the MHE equipment.\nThe successful applicant will be required to be onsite in our head office(Hatfield) 5 days a week, working shift patterns.\nShift patterns are;- 06:00am-14:00pm AND 14:00pm-22:00pm\nWhat You'll Do\nElectrical maintenance of material handling equipment\nPLC and three-phase fault finding and testing\nRespond promptly to machine faults and carry out planned maintenance on a scheduled basis\nProvide emergency response for essential equipment breakdowns\nEnsure regular maintenance of machinery and equipment to the highest standards\nActively identify and rectify defects in a timely manner\nSupport with facilities when required\nComplete time sheets, task sheets, and manage stock control\nOrder consumables and manage administrative tasks\nWhat You'll Need\nQualified and time-served technician with strong electrical background\nExperienced in fault finding and rectification in a demanding production environment\nPrevious experience of working with PLCs an advantage\nExperience in maintaining automated materials handling equipment or similar\nSelf-motivated and flexible with excellent interpersonal skills\nGood communication skills\nAble to work at heights\nAstute practical awareness of Health and Safety principles\nHealth & Safety qualification or training in the use of high bay racking access equipment and controlled descent rescue procedures\nDesirable\nCity & Guilds/BTEC in Electrical Engineering\nBasic mechanical skills\nWorking knowledge of automated materials handling equipment\nAbout us\nWe are a leading independent technology and services provider, trusted by large corporate and public sector organisations.
