This role will focus on securing Azure resources, enforcing security best practices, and integrating DevSecOps methodologies into cloud engineering workflows. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the configuration, tuning, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Defender for Cloud, ensuring compliance, threat protection, and visibility across the enterprise cloud estate.\nWhat you’ll do\nCore Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and manage cloud-native security controls in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, and security posture management.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) to automate deployment of secure cloud resources.\nIntegrate security into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps) using Azure DevOps pipelines, GitHub Actions, and automated compliance validation.\nMonitor and remediate security recommendations, regulatory compliance gaps, and alerts generated by Defender for Cloud.\nCollaborate with SOC to enhance detection and response capabilities through Azure-native security tooling.\nAutomate security operations tasks via Logic Apps, Function Apps, and REST API integrations.\nPerform threat modelling and risk assessments for new cloud workloads and architecture changes.\nAdvise and guide application and platform teams on secure-by-design principles and cloud-native security patterns.\nDevelop security reporting dashboards leveraging Azure Monitor, Workbooks, and Power BI for visibility across the cloud estate.\nSupport compliance initiatives by aligning cloud configurations to standards such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements.\nOnboarding of Security telemetry from Azure Cloud (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) into Microsoft Sentinel\nPerformance Indicators\nPositive attitude to Information Security\nAbility to deliver as a team and work alone\nAwareness for value in the best interests of the company\nProactively identify better ways of doing things to deliver improvement and simplify the way in which activities are undertaken\nUse standard best practice to deliver across Computacenter group in a consistent\nCollaboration with departmental colleagues to ensure requirements are understood\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders\nCollaboration with subject matter experts to validate technical and operational control requirements\nProactively shares information with and seeks advice from other team members and the wider Group to drive improvements\nContribution to measurable improvements in the organization’s cloud security posture score.\nEffective collaboration with cross-functional teams, leading to secure and timely delivery of cloud projects.\nReduced number of unresolved security recommendations in Defender for Cloud\nWhat you’ll need\n7+ years of experience in Cyber Security\nMicrosoft Azure Certifications - AZ-500, AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-900\nStrong understanding of Microsoft Defender for Cloud configuration, Management, and incident response workflows\nExperience with Microsoft Azure Deployment, Development & Automation\nProven experience in securing large-scale Azure Cloud environments in an enterprise context\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as ARM, Bicep and Terraform\nStrong proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Bash) for automation\nExperience with Azure Policy, Initiatives, Blueprints and governance at scale\nWorking knowledge of Azure networking security (NSGs, ASGs, Firewalls, Private endpoints)\nExperience with Azure DevOps and secure CI/CD pipeline design\nFamiliarity with REST API integrations for security tooling\nStrong understanding of identity and access management in Azure (Entra ID, PIM, Conditional Access)\nExperience with deploying and managing Microsoft Sentinel & Log Analytics\nExperience with Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, & App Services\nAuthoring of complex and quality reporting.\nAnalytical approach to problem solving\nDesirable\nMicrosoft Azure Certifications - SC-200, SC-900\nKnowledge of security event analysis in Microsoft Sentinel and integration with Defender for Cloud\nFamiliar with SIEM/SOAR concepts and automation workflows in Security Operations\nFamiliar with Cribl Stream\nAbout us\nComputacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, with about 20,000 employees worldwide.
