Working across a broad infrastructure estate, you'll be part of a collaborative team responsible for maintaining critical services, resolving complex technical issues and delivering continuous improvements.\nThis role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse technology stack, combining operational support with project delivery, while working alongside experienced infrastructure specialists in a security-focused environment.\nWhat you'll do\nAs a Third Line Analyst, you'll provide advanced technical support across Windows infrastructure technologies, taking ownership of complex incidents, problems and technical changes.\nYou'll work closely with customers, technical specialists and service teams to ensure the delivery of secure, reliable and high-performing infrastructure services.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nProviding expert third-line support across enterprise Windows environments.\nInvestigating and resolving complex incidents and problems, identifying both immediate fixes and long-term improvements.\nDesigning, implementing and supporting infrastructure solutions across Windows platforms.\nSupporting infrastructure projects, upgrades and technical change activities.\nManaging workloads effectively to deliver against agreed SLAs and operational priorities.\nBuilding strong working relationships with customers, project teams and technical stakeholders.\nReviewing services and identifying opportunities to improve reliability, performance and user experience.\nMaintaining technical documentation and sharing knowledge across the wider team.\nParticipating in an out-of-hours on-call rota and supporting critical service restoration activities when required.\nWhat you'll need\nWe're looking for a technically strong infrastructure professional with experience supporting complex enterprise environments.\nYou'll have a passion for technology, excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider support team.\nExperience in the following areas will be particularly valuable:\nActive Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.\nMicrosoft Windows Server environments.\nAzure AD technologies, including Azure AD Connect, ADFS and Single Sign-On.\nCore Windows infrastructure technologies, including failover clustering.\nVMware and virtualisation platforms.\nExchange and Microsoft collaboration technologies.\nSCCM, endpoint management and software deployment technologies.\nPKI, certificate management and identity management solutions.\nPowerShell scripting and automation.\nInfrastructure monitoring, security and endpoint protection technologies.\nNetworking fundamentals, including routing, firewalls, LAN and WAN technologies.\nYou'll also bring:\nSC clearance (or be willing and eligible to undertake).\nExperience of working in a third line role in a managed services environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nThe ability to make sound technical decisions and work with limited supervision.\nExcellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.\nA willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nAbout us\nWe are a leading independent technology and services provider, trusted by large corporate and public sector organisations.
