This includes development, deployment, uptime, maintenance, optimisation and evolution. You will be required to interact successfully with other areas of the business.\n\nThe success of this role is dependent on the continued uptime and stability of all Network infrastructure. There are additional key expectations around: input to technical strategy, market evolution, client engagement, vendor engagement, support and engagement of commercial functions including support for product development.\n\nAdditional elements of the role include: leadership, architecture oversight, operational ownership, compliance awareness (ICASA, POPIA, etc.), and mentoring.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities\n\n● Advanced Technical Support: Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting on complex networking infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, APN Services, and wireless access points, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.\n\n● Network Issue Resolution: Lead the diagnosis and resolution of critical network and voice connectivity issues, performance degradation, and security vulnerabilities in alignment with SLAs and client expectations.\n\n● Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Utilise advanced monitoring and analysis tools to proactively identify bottlenecks, anomalies, and opportunities for optimisation in high-availability, carrier-grade networks.\n\n● Configuration & Maintenance: Own the configuration, implementation, and lifecycle management of core network systems, including upgrades,\n\npatching, and change management, following ITIL and industry best practices.\n\n● Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with clients, service providers, internal teams, and vendors to translate business and technical requirements into effective solutions. Influence and guide decision-making on network architecture and operational strategies.\n\n● Documentation & Knowledge Management: Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles to support operational excellence and team enablement.
