We are looking for a Security Cloud Architect to join the CISO Office and play a key role in shaping and governing cloud security across the organisation's cloud transformation journey.\n\nIn this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and technical authority on cloud security, helping engineering teams build secure solutions while ensuring security risks are effectively managed. You will define cloud security standards, guardrails, reference architectures, and reusable security patterns, with a strong focus on AWS and exposure to Azure environments.\n\nYou will be responsible for reviewing and challenging solution designs, conducting threat modelling and architecture risk assessments, defining remediation plans, and ensuring security controls are aligned with business and regulatory requirements. Working closely with architects, engineers, security operations, and risk teams, you will help strengthen cloud security capabilities across the organisation.\n\nWe're looking for an experienced cloud security professional with a strong background in AWS security architecture, including IAM, network security, container security (EKS/ECS), DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (TerraForm/CloudFormation), cryptography, logging and monitoring, and AWS security services such as Guardduty, Security Hub, Inspector, WAF, and KMS.\n\nKey requirements\n\n10+ years of experience in IT and Cybersecurity\n\n5+ years of hands-on Cloud Security Architecture experience\n\nStrong expertise in AWS security architecture (Azure is a plus)\n\nExperience defining Cloud Security Control Frameworks and security standards\n\nProven experience with threat modelling, security assessments, and risk management\n\nKnowledge of NIS2, ISO 27001, CIS, and NIST frameworks\n\nAWS Security Specialty certification is highly desirable\n\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\n\nFluent English\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a senior cloud security expert who enjoys combining strategic architecture, governance, and hands-on technical security expertise in a modern cloud-first environment.\n\n Company description\n Computer Futures is an International Stock Exchange IT Recruitment Company with a focus on quality and a high level service for clients and candidates.\n\n Show full description\n\n Computer Futures -
