We offer a wide range of services that fulfil our clients' needs with a best-in-class reputation built on our high-touch approach to client service.\nWe are looking for a new colleague to join us and be a part of our exciting future as one of the top corporate trust firms around the globe and to extend Computershare’s capability into continental Europe, Computershare is establishing a regulated payment institution in the Netherlands.\nA role you will love\nThe AML/KYC Lead is responsible for the oversight, execution and quality assurance of the Company's customer due diligence, customer risk assessment, sanctions and PEP screening and ongoing monitoring activities, ensuring that these activities are performed in accordance with the Company's AML/CTF framework and applicable Dutch regulatory requirements.\nYou will own and oversee the end-to-end customer onboarding framework, including supervision of outsourced KYC and CDD activities, periodic reviews, sanctions screening and transaction monitoring activities. As well as maintain and apply the Company's customer risk assessment methodology, supporting periodic review and enhancement of customer risk scoring models.\nEnsuring customer records are complete, accurate and maintained in accordance with policy requirements. Identifying risks and issues to ensure that these are resolved or escalated with recommendations for resolution, as appropriate.\nKey responsibilities\nConduct and review CDD and EDD investigations\nAssess ownership and control structures and identify UBOs\nVerify source of funds and source of wealth where required\nApprove low and medium-risk customers within delegated authority and escalate higher-risk cases as appropriate\nOversee AML/KYC activities performed by outsourced service providers\nEscalation of control deficiencies and remediation tracking \nLiaison with legal advisors, group compliance and any other required operational teams\nPrepare Management Information as required\nSupport other functions as required\nAd-hoc projects as priorities dictate\nWhat will you bring to the role?\nThe successful candidate will have evidenced experience in AML/KYC, financial crime compliance or CDD. With strong knowledge of Dutch Wwft requirements, Sanctiewet 1977, UBO identification and verification, sanctions and PEP screening, transaction monitoring and unusual transaction investigations.\nEssential:\nEvidenced experience in AML/KYC, financial crime compliance or CDD\nExperience within a regulated financial institution\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\nStrong analytical and investigative capability\nExcellent attention to detail\nSound judgement and risk-based decision making\nAbility to analyse information to make key decisions \nAbility to work independently in a scaling regulated environment\nDesirable:\nACAMS, ICA or equivalent AML qualification\nExperience collaborating with outsourced AML operations teams\nKnowledge of PSD2, Dutch regulatory expectations for payment institutions and EBA AML Guidelines Desirable \nPlease note our current Netherlands office is based in Rotterdam.
