As an Application Support Specialist, you'll support the applications, servers and automated solutions that underpin these services, ensuring they remain reliable, secure and high performing.\nBased in our Bristol office, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on support with technical ownership. You'll gain exposure to application support, server management, change and release processes, disaster recovery activities and technology projects whilst working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.\nA role you will love\nAs an Application Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring business-critical applications and services remain reliable, secure and high performing. You'll investigate issues, monitor system performance, support client data processing activities and help maintain the smooth delivery of critical customer communications.\nWe're looking for someone who has developed strong knowledge of the applications they support and enjoys becoming a trusted technical resource. Working closely with colleagues across technology teams, you'll help resolve complex issues, support system enhancements and contribute to the ongoing improvement of key business applications.\nKey responsibilities include:\nMonitoring applications, automated workflows and server environments to maintain performance and availability\nInvestigating incidents, performance issues and error messages, identifying root causes and implementing solutions\nProcessing client data files and supporting the delivery of customer communications\nSupporting Windows server environments, software releases, upgrades and change activities\nWorking with developers, infrastructure teams and service delivery managers to resolve issues and support new solutions\nContributing to disaster recovery activities, technical projects, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives\nWhat will you bring to the role?\nWe're looking for a technically curious and proactive professional who enjoys solving complex problems and taking ownership of the systems they support.
