This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technology leader with deep mobile development expertise who is passionate about building modern, scalable and secure mobile applications that deliver outstanding customer experience.\nWorking closely with Product Managers, Architects, Engineers and Delivery teams, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our mobile engineering capability, driving technical excellence and helping deliver strategic digital solutions used by customers across global markets.\nA role you will love\nAs Engineering Mobile Lead, you'll provide technical leadership across our mobile application landscape, leading the design, development and ongoing evolution of mobile solutions while mentoring engineers and driving best practice development standards.\nYou'll combine strong technical expertise with leadership capability, helping teams deliver high-quality solutions that are secure, scalable and aligned with business objectives.\nSome key responsibilities:\nLead the architecture, design and development of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to mobile engineers, promoting engineering excellence and best practices.\nCollaborate with Product Managers, Architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative mobile solutions.\nDrive mobile application performance, scalability, security and reliability improvements.\nEstablish and maintain development standards, coding practices and testing frameworks.\nOversee CI/CD processes and support efficient application deployment and release management.\nPartner with backend engineering teams to deliver seamless API integrations and end-to-end customer experiences.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance platform capabilities and customer outcomes.\nSupport troubleshooting, root cause analysis and ongoing application support activities.\nContribute to strategic technology initiatives and digital transformation programs across the business.\nWhat will you bring to the role?\nExtensive experience developing mobile applications, including strong expertise in React Native.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and modern mobile development frameworks.\nSolid understanding of iOS and Android mobile platforms and native mobile development concepts.\nExperience designing and delivering enterprise-scale mobile applications.\nStrong understanding of REST APIs, authentication frameworks and secure application development practices.\nExperience with testing frameworks, automated testing and quality engineering processes.\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and modern software delivery methodologies.\nDemonstrated experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.\nExperience within financial services or highly regulated industries will be highly regarded.\nRewards designed for you\nFlexible work to help you find the best balance between work and lifestyle.\nHealth and wellbeing rewards that can be tailored to support you and your family.\nInvest in our business by setting aside salary to purchase shares in our company, and you’ll receive a company contribution as well.\nExtra rewards ranging from recognition awards and team get togethers to helping you invest in your future.\nAnd more.
