Learn more about our flexible work culture at computershare.com/flex.\nWe offer you a world of possibilities\nThe North American Reconciliation team is responsible for reconciling all cash, general ledger, and share accounts related to funds and assets held on behalf of clients. These accounts span all operational business lines of Computershare North America. Administrators must reconcile high volumes of transactional activity from core recordkeeping systems, as well as activity shown on the related bank statements.\nA role you’ll enjoy\nThis role is responsible for completing, on time, the reconciliation of cash bank accounts operated on behalf of our key corporate clients. Specifically, it focuses on reconciling activity in accounts related to our clients’ employee share plan business. This includes activity related to plan purchases and sales, distributions, and dividend payments.\nAll out of balance variances must be analyzed, identified, and updated in our reconciliation system with the appropriate description of out-of-balance items, in order to produce accurate, timely reporting for the North American Reconciliation team and operational teams, as well as the broader business-including senior leadership.\nReconcile high volumes of transactions/activity from core systems and bank accounts, ensuring a high level of accuracy and meeting internal service level agreements with various operational teams.\nFollow procedures while focusing on improving the efficiency of established tasks.\nOwn and respond to routine operational inquiries, escalating as needed.\nKeep desk operating procedures up to date to reflect any changes in work practices.\nCollaborate with other Computershare departments to understand and resolve variances.\nWhat will you bring to this role\nRequirements:\nPerform daily, high-volume account reconciliations using automated reconciliation software, internal recordkeeping systems, and external bank account data, within required timelines and in accordance with policies and procedures.\nMatch related transactions and research/identify out of balance variances using core systems, then notify the appropriate operational units so they can take the necessary action to clear out-of-balance items. Understanding the activity, evaluating information, and analyzing issues are essential to identifying root causes and resolving breaks.\nDocument and update open out of balance transactions within the reconciliation tool.
