Keep on reading to find out a bit more about what you’ll be doing, and the type of person that we’re looking for.\nA role you will love\nThis role provides strategic direction and technical leadership across the Document Intelligence landscape, including intelligent document processing, workflow orchestration, AI/ML classification, OCR, API-led integration, event-driven architectures, automation platforms, data architecture, monitoring and observability, and operational governance.\nWorking closely with the Issuer Services and AI Architecture community, the Senior Solution Architect will contribute to defining and implementing technical strategies that drive consistency and excellence.\nOther key responsibilities:\nDefine and govern the global target-state architecture, roadmaps, standards, and reusable patterns for Document Intelligence across IDP, OCR, AI/ML, workflow orchestration, integrations, data, and observability.\nDesign scalable solutions leveraging OCR, computer vision, machine learning, LLMs, and generative AI, incorporating robust governance, explainability, human oversight, and risk controls.\nLead API-first, event-driven, and microservices architecture, establishing enterprise patterns for document ingestion, classification, extraction, workflow routing, and transaction processing.\nEnsure adherence to security, privacy, regulatory, audit, records management, and AI governance requirements through architecture reviews and design governance.\nEvaluate emerging technologies, define target architectures and migration strategies, and drive innovation through technology assessments and proofs of concept.\nSupport delivery teams through solution design, architecture assurance, technical risk management, implementation guidance, and operational readiness.\nPartner with business, product, architecture, security, risk, compliance, and delivery stakeholders to provide clear architectural direction and executive-level recommendations.\nMaintain key architecture deliverables, including reference architectures, roadmaps, solution designs, decision records, integration standards, governance frameworks, and risk assessments.\nWhat will you bring to the role?\nYou will bring a blend of strategic thinking, technical depth, and stakeholder influence, driving architectural excellence, shaping our technology future, and elevating engineering capability across the organisation.\nSome other key skills that you’ll have:\nStrong experience in enterprise architecture, integration, distributed systems, and complex multi-technology environments.\nProven expertise in intelligent document processing, OCR, workflow/BPM, AI/ML, cloud platforms, and API-led integration.\nDemonstrated success designing and delivering scalable enterprise solutions using microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed services.\nExtensive experience designing and implementing cloud-based applications and business solutions across multiple channels.\nStrong technical leadership, with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and specialist teams across large-scale programmes.\nExcellent stakeholder management, consulting, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused outcomes.\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of guiding architecture through delivery and operational adoption.\nRewards designed for you\nFlexible work to help you find the best balance between work and lifestyle\nHealth and wellbeing r ewards that can be tailored to support you and your family\nInvest in our business by setting aside salary to purchase shares in our company, and you’ll receive a company contribution as well.\nExtra rewards ranging from recognition awards and team get togethers to helping you invest in your future\nAnd more.
