This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of treasury accounting across a global organisation, partnering with Treasury, Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate accounting outcomes, regulatory compliance and robust financial controls across a diverse portfolio of treasury products.\nWhy is this role exciting? Well, there are a few things that make this role stand out:\nYou'll have global responsibility for treasury accounting outcomes across multiple jurisdictions and business lines.\n\nYou'll provide technical leadership on complex treasury accounting matters, including derivatives, foreign exchange and financial instruments.\n\nYou'll play a key role in shaping treasury accounting policy, controls and governance frameworks.\n\nA role you will love\nAs Treasury Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for overseeing treasury accounting and control activities globally. This includes ensuring accurate accounting and valuation of treasury products, managing financial and regulatory reporting requirements, supporting audit activities, and maintaining a strong control environment.\nYou will also lead the development of treasury accounting policies and provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of IFRS standards relating to treasury products and financial instruments\nSome key responsibilities:\nManage treasury accounting, valuation and reporting activities across foreign exchange, derivatives, investment portfolios and other treasury products.\n\nProvide technical accounting guidance to Treasury, Accounting and Finance teams, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain treasury accounting policies, controls, playbooks and accounting position papers.\n\nLead treasury accounting reporting, reconciliations, management reporting and audit engagements.\n\nDrive process improvement initiatives, system enhancements and strategic projects that strengthen treasury accounting capabilities across the Group.\n\nWhat will you bring to the role?\nExperience in treasury accounting, treasury control, financial control or a similar technical finance role, ideally within a large global organization, financial institution or professional services environment.\n\nDeep understanding of IFRS accounting standards relating to financial instruments, derivatives and treasury activities.\n\nProfessional accounting qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent; a relevant treasury qualification would be of advantage.\n\nStrong experience with treasury and financial systems, with Oracle and Treasury Management System experience highly regarded.\n\nAdvanced analytical, financial reporting and problem-solving capabilities.\n\nExceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at senior levels across the organization.\n\nExperience supporting audits, regulatory reporting and complex accounting assessments.\n\nRewards designed for you\nFlexible work to help you find the best balance between work and lifestyle.\nHealth and wellbeing rewards that can be tailored to support you and your family.\nInvest in our business by setting aside salary to purchase shares in our company, and you'll receive a company contribution as well.\n Extra rewards ranging from recognition awards and team get-togethers to helping you invest in your future.\nAnd more.
