The CIO also serves as the executive owner of information security, cybersecurity risk management, system integrity and IT operational controls ensuring technology enables business while protecting it from internal and external threats.\nThe target salary range for this position is $255,000.00 - $295,000.00 USD plus bonus.\nKey ResponsibilitiesTechnology Strategy & Leadership\nDefine and execute the company’s enterprise technology strategy aligned to business and product objectives, including M&A activities.\n\nServe as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on technology risks, opportunities, and investment priorities.\n\nEstablish clear technology governance, decision frameworks, standards, and operating rhythms (planning, prioritization, KPIs/OKRs).\n\nBuild and mentor high-performing teams across IT, security, and business platforms.\n\nSaaS Operational Excellence & Reliability\n\nPartner with Engineering and Product leaders to promote consistent practices across:\n\nIncident response, problem management, change/release governance\n\nObservability (monitoring, logging, alerting), SRE/DevOps maturity\n\nService ownership, SLAs/SLOs, and customer-impact prevention\n\nDrive a culture of availability, performance, and continuous improvement, including post-incident learnings and root cause remediation.\n\nCybersecurity, Risk, and Compliance\n\nOwn and mature the company’s security program including:\n\nData protection, encryption standards, secrets management, and secure SDLC alignment\n\nIdentity and access management, endpoint security, vulnerability management\n\nSecurity awareness and phishing resilience\n\nLead enterprise risk management for technology, including third-party/vendor risk.\n\nEnsure readiness for and compliance with relevant frameworks and requirements, such as SOC 2, and customer contractual obligations.\n\nOversee audits, penetration tests, and remediation programs; report risk posture clearly to leadership.\n\nEstablish an enterprise approach to data governance, retention, access control, and analytics enablement.\n\nCloud, Infrastructure, and Collaboration Tooling\nLead strategy for cloud infrastructure supporting client-facing platforms and internal services (identity, networking, endpoint fleet, collaboration suite, etc).\n\nDrive FinOps practices managing cloud and SaaS spend, optimizing costs without compromising availability, security, or performance.\n\nCustomer Trust & Stakeholder Management\nAct as an executive sponsor for customer security reviews, escalations, and due diligence requests.\n\nCommunicate technology strategy, system health, and risk posture to internal stakeholders and as needed, strategic customers/partners.\n\nExperience Profile\n10+ years of progressive IT leadership with ownership of enterprise technology strategy, operating models, and delivery.\n\nProven experience operating in a SaaS/cloud-first environment with high availability expectations.\n\nStrong experience of building and leading highly effective and cohesive teams.\n\nDeep Microsoft ecosystem expertise (e.g., Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, security) and experience standardizing platforms in hybrid environments.\n\nExcellent executive communication skills; ability to translate technical topics into business outcomes.\n\nTrack record operating in regulated, mission-critical environments with strong governance, controls, and audit/exam readiness.\n\nDemonstrated success leading M&A technology integration (due diligence, Day-1 readiness, post-close stabilization) with minimal business disruption.\n\nExperience enabling a globally distributed workforce through secure end-user services and scalable support operations.\n\nFLSA Designation (US Only):ExemptSalary Range:The estimated base salary range for this role is USD$0.00 - USD$0.00 per year.
