Provide management teamwith clear and actionable insightsand ensureupdatesare communicatedin a timely manner.\n\nTake ownership of forecasting cycle and proactively update based on business changes.\n\nPartner closely with the Senior Leadership and key functional group leaders within the business unit to support developing strategicplans.\n\nRun a disciplined AR management process and ensure collection risk is minimized.Managementteam expectationswill include weekly calls,timelyescalation of troubledaccountsand assessment of collection trends on monthly revenue.\n\nSupport the GM and management team in preparing material for quarterly strategic reviews and activelyparticipatein the review.\n\nParticipate in management calls and providestrategicfinancial advice and insights on key financial trends. \n\nCollaborate withbusiness units in the same portfolioto learn and share best practices, opportunities for synergies and streamlining. \n\nLead and develop a team ofoffshore resources.Regularly meetto provide coaching, feedback,and goal setting.\n\nWith curiosity, proactivelyidentifynew areas of investigation or opportunities for improvement.\n\nAd hoc projects as desired or requested by senior management.\n\nWhat You Bring\nMinimum5years of FP&A experience \n\nMinimum 2 years of people management and team leadership experience\n\nUniversity Degree in Accounting, CPA strongly preferred, but notrequired\n\nA strong understanding of accounting guidelines, particularly IFRS-15 revenue recognitionguidelinesisstrongly preferred, andacquisitionaccounting is a plus.\n\nAbility to manage and prioritize competing deliverables in a fast-paced environment. \n\nExperience with credit agreement management and debt covenant reporting\n\nStrong written and communication skills.\n\nExperience withmanaging or supervising offshore teams. \n\nFinancial knowledge in the software field, specifically with financial operations and accounting guidelines.\n\nProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; experience with Great Plains or other similar programs is a plus.\n\nRequires occasionaltravelincludingto the US.\n\nCompany Conformance Statements\nIn the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:\n\nPerform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. \n\nInteract professionally with other employees, managers, and vendors. \n\nWork effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. \n\nWork independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.\n\nSalary Range (Ontario & BC Only):The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$108,000.00 - CAD$132,000.00 per year.
