You will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support their production, development, and testing environments. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintain and optimize the existing AWS environment, including virtual machines, storage, and key management systems.\n\nImplement cloud architecture solutions for new systems and applications as needed.\n\nMonitor system performance, resource utilization, and load to ensure cost-effective and reliable operations.\n\nProactively resolve issues affecting system readiness or security.\n\nEnsure the cloud environment complies with IT security directives, NIST SP 800-53, and other federal regulations.\n\nOversee key management activities, including encryption and key rotation using AWS KMS.\n\nCollaborate with DevOps Engineer to support CI/CD systems, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins.\n\nEnsure seamless integration and deployment of cloud-hosted applications.\n\nMaintain up-to-date documentation of the cloud infrastructure and provide technical guidance on cloud best practices.\n\nKEY REQUIREMENTS\n5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role managing AWS environments.\n\nProven expertise in designing and managing large-scale, cloud-based systems.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and KMS.\n\nProficiency with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.\n\nStrong understanding of IT security principles, including encryption, patching, and incident response.\n\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).\n\nMust be a U.S. citizen or legal resident with at least three years of continuous residency in the United States.\n\nAbility to pass a federal background check.\n\nWhy work with us?\nWe are a customer-focused IT solutions provider serving federal agencies and industries including finance and healthcare.
