We look forward to seeing your application!\nKEYRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nConduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations. Ensure design patterns are followed by development team throughout the project. \n\nDevelop user personas and scenarios based on research findings to represent the target audience and their goals. \n\nCreate information architecture (e.g., sitemaps, navigation structures, and content organization) to ensure intuitive and efficient user journeys.\n\nDesign wireframes and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts. \n\nDesign interactive elements and behaviors (e.g, buttons, menus, forms, and animations) to enhance usability.\n\nPlan and conduct usability tests to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and gather feedback from users. Analyze test results and iterate designs based on findings.\n\nCollaborate with Technical Lead, Product Manager, and Development Team throughout the design process to ensure alignment with project goals and technical feasibility.\n\nEnsure designs are compliant with Section 508 standards/regulations and conduct accessibility evaluations, accordingly. \n\nKEY REQUIREMENTS:\nU.S. Citizen\n\n5+ years of experience in user experience and design with prior experience at the lead level. \n\nPrior experience working within Agile framework and software development projects.\n\nExcellent communication skills (written and verbal). \n\nThe following are preferred: \n\nPrior experience working in federal government contracting.\n\nActive Public Trust or HSPD-12 Tier 1/2 clearance.\n\nMust be willing to undergo a federal background check in accordance with client requirements. \nComtech is an award winning, customer-oriented, full-service IT solutions provider serving the Civilian Federal Government, the Department of Defense and other Agencies.
