The Production Technician will work closely with customers and internal staff to ensure the consistent delivery of highquality, defensible, and repeatable results in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.\nCore Responsibilities\nUnder general supervision, perform field and laboratory sampling and analysis, including environmental sampling, chemical analyses, and fieldbased testing.\nConduct field activities such as sample collection, equipment installation, inspection, training, and mobile response to trouble conditions; may serve as a driver, navigator, or instrument operator as needed.\nMaintain accurate records and reports; follow and support laboratory policies, procedures, safety practices, and housekeeping standards; communicate effectively with customers and laboratory staff.\nRespond to field or laboratory emergencies, including offshift and weekend work, work extended hours as needed, and perform other related laboratory duties.\nRequired Education/Experience\nHigh School Diploma/GED and four (4) years of relevant experience Laboratory analyses or environmental field services or\nAssociate's Degree and two (2) years of relevant experience Laboratory analyses or environmental field services or\nBachelor's Degree In a related discipline\nPreferred Education/Experience\nAssociate's Degree preferably in science or engineering and two (2) years of relevant experience Laboratory analyses or environmental field services\nRelevant Work Experience\n Experience in performing biology or chemistry sample analyses within a laboratory.\n Experience in performing biology or chemistry sample analyses within a laboratory.\n Experience in conducting environmental field services, including the sampling of various materials and lift up to 50lbs\n Ability to carry tools and materials when climbing ladders and scaffolds, and entering confined spaces\n Ability to work in adverse conditions that include, noise, confined spaces, and high elevations\n Ability to climb ladders and stairs\n Ability to work on elevated platforms, scaffolds, catwalks, roofs, and/or other equipment\n Perform work in underground vaults through manholes\n Ability to work in inclement weather and adverse conditions (i.e., excessive heat, cold, noise, confined spaces)\n Ability to work with, and in, the vicinity of high voltage and/or other high-energy systems\n Ability to be approved to wear and use either a full or half-face respirator, without facial hair or other conditions that may interfere with the seal, in accordance with OSHA regulations\n Ability to be approved to wear and use either a full or half-face respirator and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), without facial hair or other conditions that may interfere with the seal, in accordance with OSHA regulations\n Ability to climb in and out of manholes and excavations\n Stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs for the duration of the workday\n Stand, walk, lift, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or reach for the duration of the workday\n Ability to use hand tools and operate heavy machinery, i.e. jackhammers\n Ability to travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies\n Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. fire-retardant clothing and safety harnesses\n Work rotating shifts, including nights, midnights, weekends, and holidays\n Work with equipment with a manufacturer weight rating of 350lbs\n Use equipment with a maximum weight rating of 375lbs when wearing and/or carrying 25lbs of
