This is a fully remote role; however, you will be required to travel to domestic and international client locations and operations as needed.\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nThe Program Manager, Security Operations is part of the Embedded Program Team and coordinates with Security Operations to establish and transition ad hoc work into embedded roles, ensuring seamless integration, clear communication, and alignment of operational needs with client expectations. This position will manage several small groups of vendors, ad hoc services, employees, and embedded services who are working directly with Concentric clients. The Program Manager, Security Operations serves as the primary liaison between Concentric, vendors, employees, and clients, ensuring smooth communication and seamless operations while addressing needs and challenges. This position provides ongoing guidance and mentoring, performance feedback, and administrative support to enhance vendor and employee engagement and client satisfaction. \nAdditionally, the Program Manager, Security Operations will recruit, onboard, and hire vendors and embedded employees; approve timecards, invoices, and expense reports; and provide supervisory oversight while collaborating with the Embedded Programs Management Team, Security Operations, Human Resources, Recruiting, and Finance to ensure compliance with company policies, efficient resource allocation, seamless workflow transitions, and the successful execution of intelligence and security operations that align with client objectives.\nThe ideal candidate will have real-world experience in the security field and supervisory experience managing and mentoring diverse teams. \nRESPONSIBILITIES\nCollaborate with the recruitment team to identify and place top-tier embedded employees in client programs; assist in screening and selecting candidates to align with client requirements\nConduct regular check-ins with embedded employees to assess job satisfaction, performance, and well-being.\nAdvocate for employee needs and escalate issues as necessary to HR or management.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to embedded employees in the intelligence and/or security fields, assisting them in resolving challenges and navigating issues that arise at the client site\nServe as the primary manager throughout the entire embedded employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including timesheet and expense report reviews, managing performance evaluations, and implementing performance improvement plans, as needed\nServe as the primary relationship manager between Concentric and client managers, overseeing embedded employees\nCollaborate with HR and other departments to ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and legal requirements.\nFacilitate communication between employees, clients, and internal teams to maintain operational alignment.\nDesign, develop, and draft proposals, including budgets as needed\nFind, vet, and train security resources that can deliver security services while meeting Concentric’s requirements\nProvide in-person management and direct Executive Protection support of complex security operations or protective details.\nProvide direct billable consultative and/or security services as requested to clients globally\nFind, vet, and train security resources that can deliver security services while meeting Concentric’s requirements\nAct as the business representative in the CA, NV, and AZ area for client requests and business development efforts\nSecurity Operations staff Coordinator management\nOversight and development of the GSOC operations and scheduling\nDay-to-day administrative support; expense/account reconciliation, assistance with AP/AR functions, calendar management, project tracking, and periodic updates to Security Operations management\nLead key internal team and organizational initiatives\nDevelop and implement internal policies, procedures, processes, and escalation protocols specific to the delivery of protective operations globally\nMaintain excellent rapport and open lines of communication regarding client needs, requests for support, service issues, and deliverables\nEnsure client deliverables are met across the full suite of security services\nProactively communicate with clients regarding identified risks to personnel, property, or reputation\nIdentify gaps in processes and resources, and develop methodologies to address these gaps as part of the larger Concentric strategy \nOversee quality control and training as needed for Concentric employees, embedded staff, and contracted security assets\nMaintain a local Security License to provide armed and unarmed security work. \n REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMust be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship\n5+ years of supervisory experience \nExcellent professional judgment and decision-making skills\nExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail\nAbility to handle sensitive employee and client matters with discretion and professionalism\nProficiency with Google Suite and Monday.com\nBachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience\nAt least 10 years of experience in the protective security industry, law enforcement, or similar government service. \nExperience developing and delivering protective protocols and measures at the organizational level\nExperience working with contract staff and employees to provide comprehensive protective services\nExperience partnering with a cross-functional team to deliver protective services. \nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills\nProven ability to transfer knowledge and inspire a growth mindset\nCandidate must be eligible to obtain a California BSIS Armed Guard Card and CA CCW, as client work will require armed eligibility in California. A state-issued Armed Security Guard license (e.g., PILB armed registration in Nevada, DPS Armed Guard Card in Arizona) as well as HR218 is also preferred. Regardless of state of residence, CA BSIS Armed Guard card eligibility is required.\nThis position requires the ability to travel up to 30% of the time\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n Bachelor’s degree in a related field \nExperience managing employees placed within client organizations (e.g., embedded consulting, managed services, or staffing models).\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and quickly changing environment\nAdept at learning new software and web-based tools\nFamiliarity with human resource practices\nExperience working with high-net-worth family or corporate protective details\nExperience in corporate security, military or law enforcement\nExperience working in overseas environments\nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\nThe HSA medical plan covers 100% of the premium for employee-only coverage.
