Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, though hours depend on position needs. Because the role supports significant incidents and crisis events, the Coordinator is expected to provide reasonable after-hours support for time-sensitive security matters when required. Additional evening and weekend work may be needed as job duties demand.\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nThe Regional Security Coordinator supports the Regional Security Manager in the day-to-day execution of Global Security programs, standards, and initiatives across the assigned geographic region. The position serves as an operational extension of the Regional Security Manager, working directly with manufacturing locations and local management to implement Global Security requirements, identify security vulnerabilities, support corrective actions, and ensure consistent application of corporate security policies, procedures, and standards. This is a hands-on, field-oriented position responsible for supporting security operations, conducting site visits and security reviews, following up on identified deficiencies, coordinating with contract security providers, and assisting with security incidents, investigations, travel security, crisis response, and executive or event security as required. The Regional Security Coordinator works under the direction of the Regional Security Manager and in close coordination with Global Security and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The position is expected to understand the company's risk-driven security strategy and translate regional and global direction into practical execution at the site level.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport the Regional Security Manager in implementing Global Security strategies, policies, procedures, standards, and programs throughout the assigned region. \nUnder the direction of the Regional Security Manager, serve as the regional security point of contact for manufacturing locations and local management, coordinating day-to-day operational security support across the assigned geographic area.\nConduct regular site visits to review security operations, identify vulnerabilities, and verify compliance with Global Security requirements.\nSupport security assessments and assist with the development, implementation, tracking, and closure of corrective actions and mitigation plans.\nMonitor implementation of security improvement initiatives and provide regular status updates to the Regional Security Manager.\nIdentify emerging security issues, operational deficiencies, and recurring trends and escalate them to the Regional Security Manager.\nSupport plants during security incidents and coordinate with the Regional Security Manager, GSOC, and appropriate internal stakeholders.\nMaintain effective working relationships with company leadership, Human Resources, EHS, Legal, IT, Supply Chain, Facilities, and other relevant functions.\nSupport liaison with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other external security stakeholders as required. \nPhysical Security\nSupport day-to-day implementation and operation of physical security programs across assigned facilities. \nConduct physical security reviews of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, perimeter security, visitor management, key control, and other security systems and processes. \nAssist plants in resolving security system, process, and compliance issues. \nVerify that security systems and physical security measures are being operated in accordance with Global Security standards. \nSupport implementation of security system upgrades, installations, and regional security projects. \nConduct follow-up reviews to ensure identified vulnerabilities and corrective actions are appropriately addressed. \nSupport the Regional Security Manager in monitoring contracted security providers, including staffing, post orders, training, performance, incident response, and compliance with established service requirements. \nConduct operational reviews of contract security personnel and escalate performance deficiencies to the Regional Security Manager. \nSupport visitor management processes and ensure alignment with corporate standards. \nInvestigations\nSupport regional investigations under the direction of the Regional Security Manager and Global Security Investigations, conducting or assisting with fact-finding, interviews, evidence collection, CCTV review, access-control review, and related activities only as assigned or authorized. Does not independently initiate investigations.\nSupport investigations involving theft, workplace violence, threats, security breaches, loss of company assets, and other security-related incidents. \nTrack site compliance with Global Security standards, assessments, and corrective actions against established timelines, escalating unresolved or overdue deficiencies to the Regional Security Manager.\nCoordinate with Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and plant management as directed. \nAssist with local law enforcement coordination when required. \nEnsure investigative information and documentation are captured and escalated appropriately. \nTravel Security & Intelligence\nSupport the Regional Security Manager and GSOC in monitoring security developments that may impact employees, travelers, or company operations within the region. \nReview GSOC intelligence and advisories, and help determine potential impacts to assigned locations. \nProvide local and regional information to the GSOC regarding incidents, disruptions, protests, severe weather, transportation issues, or other developments that may affect company operations. \nAssist with travel security arrangements and risk mitigation measures for employees traveling within the region. \nSupport higher-risk travel and executive movements as directed by the Regional Security Manager. \nMaintain awareness of the regional security environment and promptly escalate significant developments. \nCrisis Management & Incident Response\nSupport the Regional Security Manager during security incidents, emergencies, and crisis events. \nAssist plants in implementing established emergency and crisis management procedures. \nGather and verify information from affected locations and provide timely updates to the Regional Security Manager and GSOC. \nSupport coordination between plant management, Global Security, emergency services, and other stakeholders during incidents. \nAssist with post-incident reviews and track assigned corrective actions and lessons learned. \nParticipate in crisis management exercises, drills, and preparedness activities as required. \nExecutive Protection & Event Security\nSupport security planning and coordination for executive visits, VIP travel, company events, and other special activities within the region. \nConduct site, hotel, venue, and route reviews when required. \nAssist with coordination of transportation, local security providers, law enforcement, and other security resources. \nSupport implementation of security mitigation measures developed by the Regional Security Manager and Global Security. \nProvide on-site security coordination during executive visits and events when assigned. \nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMinimum 5-7 years of corporate security experience, preferably within a multinational or global organization. \nExcellent English-language proficiency, both written and verbal. \nPractical understanding of risk-based security management and physical security principles. \nHands-on experience with physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and visitor management. \nExperience working with contract security providers and security officers. \nExperience conducting or supporting security assessments, audits, and corrective-action programs. \nWorking knowledge of corporate investigations and incident management. \nAbility to interact effectively with plant leadership, corporate functions, vendors, law enforcement, and employees at all organizational levels. \nStrong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills. \nAbility to work independently while operating within the direction and governance of the Regional Security Manager and Global Security. \nThis position may require up to 50% travel.\nAbility and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nPrevious experience supporting security operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred. \nAdditional regional language capabilities are an advantage. \nExperience supporting travel security, executive protection, or VIP movements is preferred. \nCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS\nThe HSA medical plan covers 100% of the premium for employee-only coverage.
