This position performs duties to recover delinquent funds owed to clients and take action to move accounts towards current or balance in full.Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities\nInitiate outbound calls to delinquent customers to negotiate payment on accounts due\nCollect payments on pre-charge off or early delinquent accounts to recover funds and contribute to client performance\nMotivate customer to pay outstanding balance in full or determine appropriate payment arrangement, as directed by client\nEnsure service delivered to our customers meets contractual Key Performance Indicator (‘KPIs’)\nGreet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using agreed upon procedures\nListen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while maximizing opportunity to build rapport with the customer\nMaintain basic knowledge of client products and/or services\nPrepare complete and accurate work including appropriately notating accounts; maintain required regulatory compliance documents\nAchieve monthly goal / target\nMaintain documentation and accurate records to contribute to regulatory compliance and department efficiency\nCandidate Profile\nHigh school diploma with three to six months of relevant experience preferred\nModerately complex math skills required, including the use of percentages as well as the ability to calculate finance charges\nBasic computer navigation skills and PC Knowledge\nAbility to effectively communicate, both written and verbally\nDependable with strong attention to detail\nSkilled in multi-tasking; including the ability to be flexible and adapt to changes quickly\nTolerance for repetitive work in a fast-paced, high production work environment\nAbility to work as a team member, as well as independently\nDemonstrate patience in all customer contact situations; including maintaining a pleasant and professional tone and manner\nAble to rotate shifts, as needed\nBased on location and/or program, additional experience/skills may be required\n*Job requirements may vary by country and will not contravene any local laws\nCareer Framework Role\nHas program required basic skill set to perform routine tasks within simple processes but lacking program/product specific knowledge.
