Fluent in verbal and written English. High proficiency level (85%>).\nBachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. 2 - 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.\nProficiency with statistical analysis packages, such as SAS, SPSS, and other computer programs that facilitate statistical analyses, data mining services, and productivity improvement tools are a plus.\nExperience with programming languages Python or R.\nExperience in data mining and predictive modelling activities.\nAdvanced Microsoft Office skills.\nAdvanced SQL skills.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate technical and statistical concepts clearly and in a manner that can be understood by those outside the field of specialty.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates.\nUndertaking data analysis to provide insight, making complex topics or findings relevant to decision makers.\nData visualization experience; familiar with creating business intelligence reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools (preferred).\nExperience using AWS or similar cloud-based technologies (preferred).\nFamiliarity with AI/ML concepts, tools, and practical applications.\nExperience using JIRA for task tracking, project coordination, and workflow management.\nFamiliarity with GitHub and/or GitLab for version control, collaboration, and code repository management is preferred.\nResponsibilities:\nManipulate, analyze, and interrogate data sets.\nPresent findings to both internal and external clients.\nAttend meetings and workshop sessions regarding both potential work and current/ongoing pieces of work.\nTake responsibility for effective planning and delivery of project work.\nBecome a thought leader in the development and deployment of both analytical and general value-add propositions.\nIdentify, nurture, and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration from internal teams and the identification of business opportunities.\nProvide analytic services using statistical techniques.\nUtilize data mining tools and techniques in support of programs, database modelling projects, and marketing research projects.\nDesign and write code and queries (often using R) to extract, transform, and load data for analytic projects.\nAggregate and merge extracted data to create datasets that fulfil project analytic requirements.\nConduct decision support and statistical analysis appropriate to developed analytic plans using statistical tools (R).\nProvide answers and explanations to project teams regarding analytic methodology, design, and processes.\nCoordinate schedules to ensure all deadlines are strictly met.
