This is a key leadership role, responsible for delivering commercial performance, developing the team and ensuring strong execution against agreed client objectives and KPIs.

The successful candidate will have a strong and demonstrable background in telecommunications sales, together with proven experience managing sizeable, target-driven sales teams.

This is an environment that requires a confident, resilient and commercially focused leader who can navigate a challenging sales process, maintain high standards and build strong relationships with both the team and client stakeholders.adoption, health checks and voice of the customer) and/or revenue retention motions (product/ service contract renewals, extension, upsell and expansion). Responsible for managing, building, and developing strategic client relationship through a balanced level of engagement with Sales Director and external facing client.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of approximately 20 sales professionals.
• Own team performance against sales, revenue, conversion, productivity and quality KPIs.
• Drive a culture of accountability, coaching and continuous improvement.
• Identify and address performance gaps through structured coaching and action plans.
• Ensure consistent execution of the agreed sales process and client requirements.
• Build a strong, professional relationship with client stakeholders and provide clear performance updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness, productivity and customer outcomes.
• Work closely with Operations and other stakeholders to deliver overall business objectives.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Strong telecommunications industry experience is essential. IT experience is an advantage.
• 5+ years of Sales leadership experience
• Proven experience managing a sales team of 15-25+ people.
• Strong track record of delivering against challenging sales targets.
• Experience in a high-volume, KPI-driven sales environment.
• Excellent coaching and people-management capability.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales performance metrics.
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Resilience and the ability to perform effectively in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Ideally

• Experience in an outsourced, BPO or contact-centre sales environment.
• Experience managing a sales operation on behalf of a major telecoms provider.
• Strong knowledge of telecoms products and services, such as mobile, broadband, connectivity, cloud or related solutions.
• Experience managing complex sales processes and client requirements.
