You will join an established team andsupporta variety of accounting taskswhichinclude:\nResponsibilities:\nProvide day-to-day support for operational accounting, treasury,intercompany,and tax reporting requirements of theCompany’s U.S. entity.\nEnsure timelycompletion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close functions in accordance withU.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles(U.S. GAAP).\nCoach team members through the application of U.S. GAAP.\nOversee the coordination of U.S. team’s deliverables during the annual financial statement compilationand tax return preparation with external accountants.\nLead review of internal control framework and implement improvements where needed.\nDevelopdocumentationto ensure consistent performance of the department’s duties.\nHelp the team identifyopportunities for process improvementsand take an active role in implementation. \nCollaborate with Global Finance team members and cross-functional departments on various accounting, reporting, and other business initiatives.\nThis is a great opportunityfor someone motivated tomake adirect impact on the company’s accounting and internal control processes.\nKnowledge and Skills Requirements:\nA bachelor’sdegree in accountingis required.\nMaster’s degree and CPA arepreferred.\n7+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or a similar work environment, including2+ years of leadership experience.\nAccounting experience in a manufacturing companysettingis desired.\nStrong problem-solvingand analyticalskills.\nDetail-oriented and organized.\nDemonstrated ability to develop team members.\nProficiency across Microsoft Office and Excel.\nCompensation for this position consists of a salary range of $100,000-$130,000, depending on experience, plus participation in a quarterly variable wage program that is based on company and employee performance, which adds significantly to total compensation.\nAt Concept2, our workplace is informal, yet professional and friendly, with a supportive environment that rewards hard work.
