Classes begin December 2026!\n Summary\nUnder the direction of the Clinical Instructor, the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Trainee is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care duties for a group of patients, from simple to complex, for the specialty population on the unit or department, under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse.\n Education\nHigh school or equivalent (GED) preferred.\nCertification, Registration & Licensure\nNone required.\nExperience\nEvidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team.\nResponsibilities\nWork under the direction of the Clinical Instructor to assist with the following tasks:\nPerforms activities of daily living and personal care needs under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse.\n\nPerforms technical skills/procedures relating to physical, mental health and social needs of patients under the guidance and supervision of the RN.\n\nDocuments care provided and reports to the RN observations of patient’s physical, social and mental status and basic patient data collected.\n\nDemonstrates adherence to safe patient handling policy.\n\nDemonstrates time management skills.\n\nMaintains the patient care areas to ensure cleanliness, safety and supplies of material and equipment.\n\nReceives delegated work adhering to the five rights of delegation.\n\nPerforms job specific requirements and other duties as assigned.\n\nMaintain passing grade in course per LRCC.\n\nComplete all required clinical hours in accordance with LRCC policy.\n\nConcord Hospital is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
