When a lender needs a trusted partner to service their portfolio or a trustee needs real-time reporting, they call Concord.\nWe're hiring a Senior .NET Software Engineer to design, build and maintain the financial applications our business users rely on every day, working across SQL Server, Snowflake and cloud services.\nYou'll join a small, senior-leaning team that owns the core applications behind a financial services business. The work is varied: new features on modern .NET services, integrations with internal and third-party systems, and data pipelines feeding analytics. You'll work with Product, Compliance, Security and Data partners, have direct access to the business users you build for, and shape how we design, test and ship.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, build and maintain applications and APIs in C# on .NET (ASP.NET Core, Web API, background services)\nWrite testable, well-documented code and review peers' work against agreed standards\nLead technical design for multi-component features and mentor other engineers\nBuild and maintain integrations with internal and third-party systems through APIs and messaging\nOwn features end to end: refine requirements with business partners, estimate, build, test, deploy and support in production\nCollaborate with Product, Compliance, Security and Data teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions\nImplement security practices that protect sensitive financial data (encryption, authentication, authorization)\nApply regulatory and audit requirements, such as data retention and access controls, in system design\nTroubleshoot production issues, find root causes, and fix the underlying problem rather than the symptoms\nKeep current with security trends and emerging technologies, and recommend what is worth adopting\nRequirements\n Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience\n7+ years of professional software development, with C# and .NET as your primary stack\nHands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework or Dapper, and dependency injection\nStrong SQL Server skills, including database design, query tuning and indexing\nExperience with automated testing (xUnit, NUnit or similar)\nExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies\nWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript\nAbility to explain a technical trade-off to a non-technical audience and turn business rules into working software\nA track record of diagnosing and fixing hard problems in production systems, with careful attention to data accuracy\nLanguage requirements: fluent English\nNice to Have\nCloud experience (Azure or AWS), including containers, serverless functions or infrastructure as code\nTypeScript experience, including front-end frameworks or Node.js tooling\nBlazor, Angular or React for front-end work\nMessaging and integration patterns (queues, event-driven design, SFTP and batch file processing)\nExperience with Snowflake, ETL/ELT tooling or other data warehouse work\nExperience in lending, banking, payments, insurance or investment systems\nA background in operations
