They should go beyond the immediate requirements to understand the business and deliver scalable, mature designs.\nLeadership Skills: Manage their own workload and effectively delegate tasks to available resources.\nThe candidate must be proactive, provide timely updates, and consistently deliver work on schedule.\n\nRequirements: \nStrong Salesforce basics, i. e. Configuration/Clicks concepts, Sales and Service Cloud.\nStrong Marketing Cloud Engagement basics, i. e. Email Studio, Content Builder, Automation Studio, Journey Builder configuration and setup.\nAMPscript, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), and GTL (Guide Template Language) for dynamic content and personalisation.\nExcellent programming skills with a good understanding of scripting logic, conditional flows, and data-driven content rendering.\nKnowledge of Data Extensions, Data Views, and relational data modelling (Tables, Joins, Relationships, SQL, Normalisation).\nKnowledge of core HTML, CSS and JavaScript concepts for email templates, landing pages, and CloudPages.\nExperience with Marketing Cloud Connect, REST/SOAP API integration, and Postmonger (for custom Journey Builder activities) (nice to have).\nAccount Engagement (Pardot) configuration, including Business Units, folders, and user permissions.\nLead/Contact sync mechanics between Account Engagement and Salesforce CRM, including sync errors and field mapping.\n\nPreferred Certifications: \nSalesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Developer.\nSalesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator.\nSalesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Consultant.\nSalesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Specialist.\nSalesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Consultant.\nSalesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist.\n\nNice to have: \nTrending AI features in Marketing Cloud (Einstein, Send Time Optimisation, Agentforce for Marketing).\nEngagement Studio program design and multi-step nurture automation.\nConnected Campaigns and B2B Marketing Analytics setup for attribution reporting.\nSalesforce Data Cloud knowledge.\nSalesforce Agentforce knowledge.\nSalesforce Experience Cloud, for community-facing journeys or preference centres.\nTaking apps to AppExchange (packaging, Security Review).\nCloudPages front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS, jQuery, Bootstrap).\nPostmonger and custom Journey Builder activities.\nOAuth 2.0, REST/SOAP authentication, SSO patterns.\nSQL and relational data modelling (joins, normalisation).\nAWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (for data imports, hosting, or Personalisation feeds).\n\nSoft Skills Checklist: \nAlways learning attitude, with the rapidly changing Salesforce and Tech landscape, it's a must.\nConsultant mindset: We will help you develop these soft skills, but an open attitude is needed.
