Interns apply intermediate technical knowledge, collaborate closely with project teams, and contribute to the design, implementation, and support of cybersecurity solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nParticipate in the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of applications, web solutions, and/or cloud-native services.\nSupport DevOps/DevSecOps activities (e.g., working with Git repositories, build pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code).\nAssist in the design and evaluation of cybersecurity solutions, including vulnerability assessments, incident response support, and secure configuration tasks.\nContribute to integration of Microsoft 365 and other cloud services, including APIs, data flows, and workflow automation.\nProvide technical assistance to users and project teams by diagnosing and resolving moderately complex issues and documenting solutions.\nDevelop and deliver presentations or demonstrations summarizing project work, prototypes, or findings.\nManager Defined Field:\nSupport the Cybersecurity team in monitoring security tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection) to identify, log, and escalate potential threats in accordance with established procedures.\nAssist in documenting the current cybersecurity and network architectures, including asset inventories, data flows, and security control implementations, to support audits, assessments, and system accreditation activities.\nParticipate in the execution and documentation of vulnerability assessments and security testing (e.g., scanning, configuration reviews), including tracking findings through remediation and retest.\nContribute to the development and maintenance of cybersecurity runbooks, standard operating procedures, and incident response playbooks tailored to specific systems, applications, and environments.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, network engineering, system administrators) to verify that security requirements are incorporated into system changes, upgrades, and new deployments.\nRequired Qualifications:\nCurrent enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Engineering, MIS/IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field as a 2nd Year/Sophomore or 3rd Year/Junior.\nIntermediate understanding of programming concepts, object-oriented design, and/or databases based on coursework or project experience.\nFamiliarity with web/application development tools and languages (e.g., ASP.NET/Blazor, React, Angular, JavaScript, Python, or similar).\nUnderstanding of fundamental cybersecurity principles (confidentiality, integrity, availability), basic networking, and operating system concepts.\nStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working on multi-disciplinary project teams or prior internships in IT, software development, cybersecurity, DevOps, or related fields.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms and Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps).\nExposure to security tools such as vulnerability scanners, log analysis tools, or network sniffers, and understanding of security best practices.\nBasic-level IT or cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, A+, or equivalent).\nDetermined by management, if applicable.\nWhy CTC?\nOur teams at CTC are passionate and thrive on collaboration in a team environment.\nWhen we encounter a difficult problem, we have a variety of talented and diverse employees that work together to solve the toughest challenges.\nAlthough our work at CTC is extremely important, we also recognize the need for our employees to maintain a proper mix of work and personal life.\nVisit www.ctc.com to learn more.\nJoin us!
